Great experience, very easy to book, fast efficient treatment. Ear suctioning was quick and simple. Great feedback and knowledge during the suctioning. Very happy and totally recommend.
I visited the hospital today for my son’s ear wax removal. We went because his right ear was the issue. After briefly examining for about 10 seconds, the staff said they couldn’t do it and instructed us to go home and put olive oil in his ear for four days. The issue was only with his RIGHT ear! we had already dealt with wax in his left ear at home so it was not a problem at all!!!! Despite not resolving anything, we were asked to pay $77. They also said that when we come back after four days of using olive oil, we’d have to pay $62 AGAIN. Does that make any sense? is there anyone can guarantee that they won't ask for another $62 without providing any treatment next time? I am quite sure that they're gonna say exactly the same thing "go home, put some olive oil for 4 days and come again" and charge another $62. haha It is literally like a waste of $77, my time, and leaves the worst feeling. Is running a business just about making money? Haven’t they encountered such situations before? Is it really that difficult for the receptionist to suggest preparing IN ADVANCE for cases where wax is too hard to remove? How does the person answering the phone even do their job??? did you start your job yesterday? and the staff did not even tried to remove his ear wax, just done what anyone could have done without any knowledge about an ear. you call yourself as propessional? shame on you. I did not ask her to cure some kind of cancer or something, earwax! she could not even handle simple work like that and saying "putting olive oil in the ear at home" well, I could give that advice to anyone also. and staff's attitude was the highlight! rude, impolite, arrogant, insolent, horrible. words cannot even describe how awful they were. so unpleasant experience with your staff and good luck with your business. feel like ripped off and conned!!!! it's not even worth one star here!!!! you left the comment reach out if I need further discuss, where do I need to contact???????? that rude receptionist?? and tell me, who on earth read terms & conditions, policy before visiting clinic????you?? I should have read your website review before visiting, no wonder you have got lots of one star review here.
I had my 91 years mom booked for wax removal Due to her chronic condition and busy parking we were 15 min late. I saw the Ear Nurse today in Milford and she was fantastic. Very friendly, competent and patient. The Ear Nurse took the time to explain everything as she was going and the procedure itself felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend her!
Called the clinic before booking an appointment to ask if I needed to put oil in my ears for a few days before coming and was told no it was fine come in that day. I went in for the appointment and the ear I had blocked was sorted out, but the other ear that wasn't as bad was made worse by the suctioning. I was then told I would need to put oil down my ears for 3 days and come back (exactly what I called and asked beforehand) I left the clinic worse off than when I arrived. I had to spend a whole weekend with an extremely blocked ear and had to put oil down it which was creating a lot of pressure on my eardrum that by the end of the weekend I was in agony with earache that sent shooting pains up my ear and down my neck and gave me a massive thumping headache. Took the first appointment they had Monday morning to get it sorted. When I arrived I was asked how I was and I explained my disappointment of the service that I had phoned and asked prior to the last appointment about oil and was told it wasn't necessary, so clearly the whole situation could have been avoided if I can have been told to do that first, there was no response. We went on to do the suctioning and it was painful, I told the practitioner that and I was told I was being over the top and that it doesn't hurt... wow just wow.. never in my life have I been treated like that. No one wanted the wax out more than me at this stage I would have absolutely nothing to gain by saying it was painful if it wasn't! I explained it was painful because it was, even now I still have a throbbing in my ear as clearly the whole ordeal has irritated and aggravated my ear. This is the worse experience I have ever received from anywhere ever and I would recommend going to another ear clinic if you want to be treated with respect, care, empathy and just downright decent customer service. My guess is that they wanted 2 appointments out of the treatment rather than one as the whole ordeal has cost me $135 instead of $75, otherwise I would have been advised to use oil a few days before the procedure just as I called and asked in the first place...More than anything though for me it's being told I was lying about the pain this morning that's just down right unacceptable behaviour!
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The procedure was pain free, and I particularly liked the way everything was explained to me in detail, including some follow up tips. Thank you.
