   Terribly disappointed that they cancelled two appointments in a row on the day of the appointment within a week of each booking, not impressed when I had to take time off work to make these appointments. Wouldn’t recommend at all sorry!

   I needed to research and compare and contrast the providers of immunotherapy for stomach cancer. I rang Canopy Cancer Care North Shore and spoke to Jan. I asked to speak to someone who would be able to provide me with information on what specific drugs Canopy Cancer Care used for such a treatment. She said that she didn’t know who would be able to provide that. Jan put me through to a team member was unable to answer my queries. How can anyone have faith in a company with such poor professional ethics?

   Glorified expensive prescription writers, that’s about all they are good for. Their oncologists are uneducated dinosaurs stuck in the past for fear of criticism from their so called peers. They are not interested in learning or researching and exploring latest advances internationally. Very much money orientated rather than patient outcome orientated. The oncologists write everyone off and just move to the next chemotherapy or palliative care. If you are after a cookie cutter approach from 1970 this is for you. No individualised plan, you are the same as everyone else. They do not support latest research and are not interested in furthering their knowledge or stepping outside the box. Bedside manner is just shy of appalling. They have very little time and very little patience for questions. Far too many patients in their care means you are nothing more than your NHI number and a source of income from your insurance company. My advice is to strongly advocate for yourself, push them to deliver for you since you are paying them and seriously research and look at overseas approaches eg Germany. Good luck.

   Canopy is operating in an unsafe environment. None of the windows or doors are left open so staff and patients, many of whom are immunocompromised, are unnecessarily exposed to elevated concentrations of airborne viruses.

   This Specialist Center is really nice & Modern. Has very good and convenient car parking for patients. Frontline staff are really nice greet you with a smile and are easy to work with.
