   Handy location but that’s where the good news ends. Poor service on the drive through for take out. From what we could see one poor staff member was taking orders, confirming payment at the first window and then handing out the out the orders at the pick up window. The breakfast muffins were tiny like a child’s meal and the Coffee was so weak it was like a cup of hot milk. You people are not like other stores I have been to and it seems like your obvious cost cutting is the reason we won’t return ever.

   I had the pleasure of being served by an indian man during my recent visit to the Wariau McDonald's, and I have to say, he truly made the experience unforgettable. From the moment I approached the counter, his warm smile and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. It’s rare to come across someone who goes out of their way to provide such outstanding customer service. He was not only efficient but also genuinely engaged, taking the time to ensure my order was exactly what I wanted and even offering helpful suggestions. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the experience of the customers. In a busy environment like McDonald's, it’s easy to get caught up in the rush, but he remained calm, courteous, and professional the entire time. I also appreciated how he handled a small mix-up with my order — instead of brushing it off, he took immediate ownership and made sure I received everything I needed with a positive attitude. It’s this kind of attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction that makes him stand out. Thank you for going above and beyond, indian worker on sunday night ! You’re an asset to the Wariau McDonald's team, and it’s employees like you who make dining here such a pleasant experience.

   I had the worst experience. I ordered a large chicken combo and paid at the counter. When my order arrived, the drink was small. I informed them that I ordered a large combo, but they told me it was my fault because, for large drinks—especially coffee—I needed to go through McCafé. This was my first time there, and I didn’t know about that process. I asked them how anyone could know this unless it was not mentioned in the app. They charged me for a large drink but gave me a small hot chocolate instead.

   Unbelievable customer service, shocking quality and quantity of food, horrible food hygiene, do not recommend to anyone. We ordered our order though drive through, waited for 5 mins for no reason at the speakers ( this staff at drive through was polite to be fair), but when I finally get to the window, he was wearing plastic gloves and allocated me to use the paywave on the wall, after I paid, he gone back to cut tomatoes, with the same gloves. 1st soft serve to us was tiny, and you can see it's not in its shape because it was already melted, told the staff I can't accept it because it is so small, he gone back to his manager (I believe, she s in different uniform) with it and more soft serve came, and they were ok. Got my large coke, because of the day light, I can see it was lacking, told the manager it is so stingy, she said it's all from the machine and she can't do anything, she can give me more ice to fill it up if I want to. I told her if it is like this, they should have their machine fixed, and she just ask me again if I want more ice to fill it up and the quantity of the drink inside is fixed. I was getting a bit upset with the service and food, but amount of cars was building up, so I just asked for my receipt and left. Got home, open the bag, and saw the chips I got, just unbelievable, it's not even half.

   I opened my lava cake and found a black hair like clear as day in my ice cream, don’t know how it wasn’t spotted when bagging but super grossed out. Very careless. But the service was good guy at window was real lovely

   I usually like very early breakfast at McDonald, this place is the best quality of McDonald. Fresh Hot Cake, and fluffy hot cake here not dry and flat like Albany branch. Efficient staff working.

   Had Milo serving us through the drive through. What a wonderful young lad, amazing customer service, made me feel appreciated. When we tried to let this lovely young man know of our appreciation, I am afraid he thought we were joking. We thoroughly apologise, we were too excited about his pleasant demeanour. Thank you Milo for serving our cuntry the way it should be.

   Food was ok. It was served warm to cold and we waited a long time. We wanted it to be brought to the table so we could dine in but they brought it in a bag without a tray. I had taken my elderly parents in and they did not enjoy it. Very disappointing. Every other McDonald's in West Auckland have been fantastic but will never go back to Northshore McDonald's again
