It’s great to have a lovely bakery/café in Hauraki. We tried the egg tart, cinnamon brioche, savoury brioche, and brownie, all were delicious! The owner is super nice as well!

New owners, fantastic coffee and pastries! :-) Glad they now have improved seating outdoors with a few tables which is nice to see. Hours are also better. Still wish there was indoor seating spot during rainy weather - could be a really cosy little setup. Recommend this place & hope it does well!

Genuinely one of the best cafes in the country. Wonderful people running the store that have astounding pastries and breads. My partner and I have spent the last few weeks trying what they have and every single thing has been spectacular. The pastries are laminated perfectly, they're also incredibly well balanced in flavour and sweetness. I absolutely love the fruit danish and egg tart!! My favourite iced mocha I've ever tried because it isn't overly sweet. Same with the matcha, it's strong and unsweetened! I never thought I'd be able to find pastries near this quality in NZ. Please do yourself a favour and treat yourself to one of the many incredible things they have. They also very much deserve the support because they're such lovely people.

Absolutely lovely people that own and run this bakery, which produces top-notch baked goods. My first egg tart ever and I was immediately hooked! Can see why these sell out regularly. Another pleasant surprise - soft big pretzels! These have become so hard to find, a seriously underrated baked good here in NZ. I cannot wait to try everything in the bakery case, including the cinnamon walnut brioche and new brownie, among many others. The barista makes great coffees, too. There’s parking out the back and you can enter the bakery from either end. A few seats out front and a couple inside as well. Open every day. Only wished I lived closer. Cannot recommend highly enough!

If you want fresh baguette, croissant, pain au chocolat like in France, come here. It is small but his produces all made by him are delicious, simple and authentic. Deserve to be supported locally around takapuna. Makes good coffee too. Recommended.

Great selection of pastries and bread to choose from. We had the double-dipped pain au chocolat, almond croissant, blueberry danish and baguette which were all 10/10 but we were pleasantly surprised with their long blacks - chocolatey and divine! Lovely welcoming staff and we will definitely be coming back more for their goodies!

We got the last corn pastry today! Lucky day! Even though the corn is cold but the bread part is so yummy.

This is what a Pain au Chocolat should be!!! This is the best, most authentic place I’ve found for amazing French pastries and breads. So friendly and absolutely worth going to!

Hands down the BEST pain au chocolat I’ve had. Better than the one I had in Paris… Jesus chris. (This one’s double chocolate or something…) all other pastries were the delicious too
