I've had the privilege to get my hair done by Alexis twice now and both times, the vibes are immaculate and she takes so much time making sure you're happy with the end result. I love that there is no harsh lighting and that you get to just be in a quiet and relaxing space with a true artist that is so friendly and inviting. 10/10 would recommend!
I had a great experience with Alexis, and I really love my new haircut. We had an in-depth chat about what I wanted and how I much time I have to do my hair etc, and she figured out exactly what I wanted (when I didn't know myself!) She also gave me lots of tips for styling and dying which have already been super useful. I love the vibe of the salon, very chill and quiet. Thanks a lot, I'll be back!
I have been getting my hair cut and coloured by Alexis for the last year or so, and this was my first time seeing her at her new studio. What an amazing space! Very beautifully decorated and so comfortable. It made a huge difference to not be surrounded by other clients. I booked in for a curly cut, my first such cut after years of styling me textured hair to it's death. Alexis absolutely nailed the brief. Happy to say that my hair hasn't been near a flat iron or curling wand since :) I have never had so many compliments after a hair cut. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend! I have wavy/curly hair, and it's not easy to find a stylist who knows the ins and outs of textured hair as well as Alexis. She listens to what you want and fully explains her plan before starting any cutting. She's great, and her studio is also such a calm, nice space to be in. Will absolutely be booking my future haircuts at Studio Blue!
Alexis has been cutting and colouring my hair for a few years now, so it's awesome to see her in her new studio. Always a great cut and reliable colour advice, but now in a fabulous new space, with a jigsaw and the world's most comfortable hair wash station - Perfect.
I have been going to Alexis for about 3 years now for my hair cut and colour. She is the only one that seems to get it right with my difficult hair. I am very grateful that I found her. Now there is the added bonus of the experience of going to her own new studio, which is such a lovely, warm and relaxing place to slow down and enjoy being looked after. Alexis was so lovely, it was the first time I’ve had a curly hair cut and it was amazing! She also gave me excellent advice about managing my hair and I’m stoked with it. Would definitely recommend.
Alexis is hands down the best hairdresser in Auckland. She always listens to what I want, gives friendly, professional advice and I leave feeling amazing. Plus she’s an awesome human to hang out with for a couple of hours. The studio is such a cosy, relaxed space too. Can’t recommend highly enough.
