Terrible haircut and experience. Despite coming for a few years I will never return. Woman was so rough cutting my hair which has resulted in it looking choppy and uneven. I asked for the hair to end past my shoulders and to not be too layered and it was cut above my shoulders with too many layers. Will have to deal with ugly hair for months until it grows out sufficiently for a proper hairdresser to fix it.

This is the best hair salon in Auckland . The prices are affordable, the skills are excellent, and theyβre very honest. They even advised me not to colour my hair because it would cause more damage, instead of just trying to make money. Iβll definitely be going back.

I do not recommend this salon at all. The person cutting hair does not understand basic English, which makes it nearly impossible to explain what you want. There is zero customer service β no greeting, no effort to understand your request, and no interest in the result. He simply does whatever he wants, completely ignoring the customerβs input.
If youβre thinking of coming here, be warned: you may walk out with a haircut you didnβt ask for, and a very unpleasant overall experience. Avoid this place unless youβre okay with being ignored and ending up with a hairstyle youβll regret.

One of the very few salons that are actually capable of delivering as requested. I've tried other salons before I landed here, and this one was the only one that could give me what I asked in detail. This is not just about staff's openness but also about their competence. I quite often try different hairstyles and from my experience, not all salons can meet all my needs, yet alone one. I also learn quite a bit from the staff here. They are good people who want your experience with their outcomes to satisfy you. People gotta understand hairdressers aren't mind-readers. You gotta interact with them to get what you want out of them. Sometimes, when I am not 100% satisfied, I notice where I missed to request, in which case I know it was negligence on my side. And as said earlier, being able to deliver after the interaction is another thing. This salon ticks the box in both willingness to accommodate my needs and competence to execute the task.

Unfriendly, arrogant and very offensive service, plus a rip-off.
To begin with, I asked for a tidy trim but he was super aggressive about it (I don't know why). At that point, I thought to myself, I will never coming back again. But that's not all.
I asked the hair dresser, If it's alright if I put my glasses on the table (because I wear glasses) he grumply replied "NO, you hold your glasses". I was shocked how rude he was, but I kindly asked again if it's possible to put my glasses on the table, only then he allowed me to do so.
During the cut, the hair dresser told me that he need to wash my hair becuase he wants to check how it will look after the wash. He never mentioned this will cost me extra $5 and didn't even ask for my aproval. I didn't asked for the wash in the first place and he still chared me for it.
The hair cut costs normally $35, but I endedup paying $45. $5 for a "FORCED" hair wash, but where did another extra $5 came from?
Guess what, he charged me extra $5 because my hair was TOO long. By the way, I'm a male, my hair wasn't that long to be charged extra.
Even if it did, only if he told me before the hair cut, it will cost extra $5, I would have been totally fine with it.
But I acknowledged that I was charged extra $10 only after I payed.
I left the place with feeling I have been scammed.
It wasn't very pleasant experience.
p.s. - If you are ever planning to visit this place, don't bother making an appointment, you still end up waiting 30mins before your turn.

Tried mens cut here for the first time. He may be a bit direct, he may leave you to take a phone call, he might even be rough with the clippers,
But I got the best haircut of my life.
10/10 would go back and get treated badly again lol
