Wow! The Jjajang Myein noodles with pork and black bean sauce with chili and coriander was amazing and served with yellow pickles. It was a large portion for just $20 and was absolutely delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back there again. Highly recommended!!

Bought the chicken on rice. Chicken was cooked really nicely and the sweet/spicy sauce was great. Chicken was bone in nibbles Reasonable amount of chicken(6 pieces) Came with pickled radish. Not convinced it’s better value than a half boneless chicken. If I’d known it was bone in I probably would have bought something else

Comes highly recommended, very busy during peak should come early if you want a table. Food is amazing and on point, side dish with great selection. One of the better korean restaurants in wairau.

The food was nice here. Bought some soup and other stuff. The soup was delicious. Feels a bit overpriced. Customer service was nice. It gets very busy inside. Heaps of parking outside.

#Korean restaurant# Small restaurant with great Korean food! Strongly recommend the soups, such as fish roe、beef、pork and tofu. Reasonable price and generous portions.

The food is delicious. If you want to experience authentic Korean cuisine, come to this place. While there are many Korean restaurants in Auckland, I recommend this place more than any other. I feel a bit sorry that there is a review mentioning that the staff was slightly unfriendly. I would like to apologize on their behalf. Nevertheless, the food at this place is truly delicious.

Found this place while looking for another restaurant. Had Sunday lunch here. Just simple common Korean dishes Bibimbap and a Pork bone soup. Both were delicious and well prices. Service is quick and place is very clean.

Problem 1 - Racist Staff Came back again on the 28/2 and one of the staff was very, very rude. She did not greet us or say anything when we ordered, but instead looked at us like we said something wrong to her. We felt that she had a really hostile vibe when taking our order when she could just be normal and we wouldn’t have an issue with it. However, we noticed that she was very nice and kind to Korean customers as she would speak politely and smile at them. After ordering she threw the hot soup (sundaeguk) into the table and almost burned me as my partner was showing me something on her phone. Problem 2 - We only ordered 1 dish to share as my partner had eaten before. However, we liked the side dishes and politely asked for a refill. The waitress then rolled her eyes and gave us attitude when we asked her for it when she could have declined since we did only ordered 1 dish to share. However, the other older staff member came and explained that you have to order 2 dishes when two people are in the restaurant. This was not explained when we ordered as the waitress didn’t even speak to us. I asked for a refill with intention to pay for them anyway, as some restaurants don’t give free refills. Alternatively, we would have been absolutely fine to be declined of a refill, which we had explained to both staff members as well. Problem 3 - Flies and hygiene There were flies EVERYWHERE and we had to shoo them away every 30 seconds and it was just a pain to deal with. This brings down the overall hygiene level and dining experience at their restaurant. Overall, it was really a shame as I came here 3 times during lockdown to take away food and remembered the staff being very nice and friendly.

We went for dinner, there are mainly Korean customers which indicating it must be really good! The place is small and busy, but food was extraordinary!!! I had beef bone stew and ask if I could have one poached egg inside (I normally like it this way. ) then the staff went to check with chef and told me the flavour will change completely if I add a poached egg. I felt quite different coz normally restaurant just do what you ask, I like the way they actually communicate with you and set you expectation. The sides dishes are free just like other Korean restaurants but they are really tasty!! I love this place and will go back for sure.

Had two dishes. 1. Chueo tang which my wife and I really enjoyed. personally it tastes one I used to eat back in the day. It has really plain taste. 2. Daegu tang which can taste fish fresh and has a little kick. Staff is welcoming and cozy over there.
