   5 years now and we still love our North/West corner, large sunny apartment in Scene 3. Spectacular water views and city views. Handy to everything; motorway access, Akl hospital. Walking distance to Uni, Spark Arena, shops and all public transport; even has Countdown next door. I read the previous review I can tell you, do not judge all apartments as equal. We certainly don't get truck noise! In the city some weekends we may hear the boys in there toys. So do most apartments and hotels in the city. But they are there and then gone it's not a major problem. This is city living embrace it.

   NOISY! I slept with earplugs every night and broke lease after annoying 6 months. All trucks going in and out of the port go past this building (Tangihua St) day AND night. Engines revving, braking, clunking, honking. Even at high floors and in units far from the street you hear every single truck through closed windows (single glazed). Completely forget relaxing on the balcony. Every Fri/Sat night: Idiots racing on Quay St. with modded exhausts and external speakers blasting garbage music. Also: Gym is advertised with apartments but not included (tiny and costs more than CityFitness)

   Would not recommend living here. Construction noise 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Five lanes of traffic gives you lots of road noise 24/7. Short stay guests party into the night. Basically forget getting a good night's sleep. Ever.
