I ordered two bbq meat rice in this restaurant, and only four pieces of chicken were provided. It's hard to imagine that a 30-dollar meal has very little meat. My friend and I waited for a full hour and a half to get the takeaway through the delivery ordered by Uber, which is really too bad!
Really good food ... excellent pekin duck , excellent roasted crispy pork ! Good prices .
Roasted pork, roasted duck, char siew were all great. Be sure to request for their homemade chilli oil.
I've just had the fried noodles with pork delivered to my home. The food arrived quite quickly and was warm. In terms of taste, however, it was absolutely not delicious. This may be a matter of taste, but the combination of flavor, spices and freshness was below average. I was most disappointed by the meat. This was dry and only consisted of small pieces that were very hard, didn't taste fresh and were nothing like the pictures on the website. Never again.
Okay so not the best place in terms of service - say only one person knows how to speak english in this establishment. But let’s speak the truth, they have one of the best roasted duck I’ve ever tasted. Also the bbq port. The duck is cook soo well that you won’t even taste say the after “fishy” taste of the duck. Def my go to duck restooo. Fried rice and noodles are the best, ofc Asian standards for sure.
Great place for a quick lunch. But looking at photos by others, and experience from another franchise, they must have forgotten our complimentary soup during this visit.

It was my favourite restaurant in the cbd, but the prices have gone up - a lot. Still give it a high rating though, because it is worth it, if you can afford it, as the food is very delicious. And they give you either free soup or tea.
Worth Trying. Quality roast meats, generous portions but very high prices (which apparently is the norm now in NZ). I'm used to $13 for two-meat-platters in Toronto, so $21-$23 is a bit of a shock. BBQ Pork was very tender and flavourful, unexpected given the light red colour and near zero char. Looked like it was steamed/boiled. Duck was good, tender with crispy skin. Decent quarter portion with leg, thigh and two breast pieces. Expect $20+ pp. They provide a large bowl of soup which was very nice. Does not take AMEX.
Best bang for the buck restaurant in CBD! If you are a solo traveller staying in Auckland CBD and need a mean feed without breaking the bank then this is one of the best option. Two meats on rice is my go to meal with corn soup on the side.
