I had my first brazilian wax here and had to leave a review. I never normally do but Nicci was amazing!! she made my experience as comfortable and pain free as she possibly could and I left feeling extremely satisfied, I would recommend booking with her!

Honestly the worst wax I’ve ever received. She missed out huge sections and said I would have to wait to get those hairs in my next wax (even though it had been 8 weeks and was hairy!) do not recommend! Very upset with my experience. I will spare you the photos of my hairy Brazilian! Even left patches of wax which was uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Edit- review for Katrina- have emailed owner.
I went to Rubywaxx Ponsonby this morning for eyebrow and upper lip waxing, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The lady, Nicci— I seriously doubt if she’s even qualified. She completely ripped off my thick brows into thin strokes, and when I reacted in shock, she casually said, “Oh, don’t worry, they’ll grow back!” She didn’t charge me for it in the end, but that really doesn’t make up for ruining someone’s eyebrows. The lack of skill and accountability was unbelievable. Definitely not going back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values their brows.
Overall it’s fine for waxing. It depends who you get as your therapist as some have been super messy and not thorough, and others have been fine!
Such a great experience for my first time waxing. Ruby was very professional and made me feel comfortable right from when I walked in the door until I left. The energy in this space is so calming & refreshing. You leave ruby waxx feeling so good! I will be coming here all the time. Thanks Ruby!

After Brazilian wax they have suggested and given this product to me at Ruby wax. My entire skin got red and so much of irritation that I couldn’t wear pants. I just applied very little still so much irritation caused. Please do not buy this product.
