If I let Fiona know that i’m in a rush, she works quickly to have me finished in 45 mins. Eyelash extensions and eyebrow waxing services are perfect. Thank you :-)

   ⭐️ Zero Stars, But Plenty of Trauma ⭐️ If I could give this place negative stars, I would personally invent a new rating system just for the occasion. I’ve been getting waxed for years, so I like to think I know the drill. But nothing—nothing—could have prepared me for the chaos that awaited me at Sophia’s Beauty. I walked in expecting a Brazilian and a lash tint; I walked out looking like I’d been through a small house fire and lost a bar fight. First red flag? They plopped me in a room with another therapist who was already mid–lash-extension with another client. Nothing says “relaxation” like making eye contact with a stranger while pant less. I asked which treatment we were doing first. “Brazilian,” she said. Great. Exactly what I want to do in front of an audience. She slathers wax everywhere—like she was icing a cake—then just… leaves. Vanishes. Houdini’d. For five full minutes. I lay there marinating in regret and hardening wax. When she finally returned, she started removing it piece by piece, like she was trying to solve a puzzle she regretted starting. I was sweating, she was struggling, and honestly, I think even the other client felt awkward for us. After the wax was done I had a look and there was still hair underneath. I told the therapist that there was still hair. She asked me if I wanted all of it off and I said “Yes, I want it all off”. She motioned for me to lay back on the bed. She then left me again. I was waiting for another 5 minutes. The beauty therapist who was still in the room doing the lash extensions of the other client starting yelling to her co-worker, I couldn’t understand the language that they were speaking. The lady returned and looked at me confused. I said to her that there was still hair down there. She still looked at me puzzled. I had to show her what I meant. I pointed to the hair and said “See, there is still hair!” She used the fabric wax strips with the wax. This time the wax was so hot that it burnt me. As I gasped from the pain of the heat, the beautician started to blow over the skin. Once she had finished she told me to have a look. It wasn’t perfect but I wanted to get out of there. Then came the lash tint. She didn’t offer me a mirror, just shooed me out with confidence she did not earn. I got to my car and discovered I looked like a raccoon who just found out its partner cheated. Black tint everywhere—eyebrows, nose, under-eyes. At this point, I just accepted my new life as a woodland creature. Between the rough handling, the total lack of privacy, and the existential crisis, I will never go back to Sophia’s Beauty. I’ve had more dignified experiences assembling IKEA furniture while crying. Do not recommend.

   I get my classic eyelash extensions done monthly at Sophia Beauty Lab and have been for a year now, and Fiona is the best! She always does such a beautiful, natural-looking set that lasts so well. I get so many compliments on my lashes, and they stay full for ages. Fiona is also very time-efficient and makes the whole experience comfortable and relaxing.

   i stupily went in yesterday without checking the reviews and MAN DO THESE SUCK!!! not only was the lady extremely rough but also DO YOU SEE THE THICKNESS?? i have never in my life had nails so thick. these are supposed to be my birthday nails i showed inspo pics and all. i asked for SHARP square nails and recieved this, i am so disappointed. CANT FORGET THE FACT SHE ALMOST RIPPED MY NAIL OFF!! safe to say i will NEVER go back

   Complete waste of nearly 2 hours and money. Nail prep and care was extremely thorough - left soaking is acetone for 15-20 minutes (then more soaking in acetone in between filing my nails and applying polish?). My nails got filed down with the drill 3 separate times, painfully close to the nail bed leaving my natural nails thin, painful and red raw in places. The amount my nails had been drilled left them extremely painful for the polish application. The lengthy process would expect a perfect finish for a simple gel french tip - although the outcome of my nails are terrible. The polish is splitting throughout the nail (especially the tips), lint is stuck under the polish, smeared white polish is seen everywhere, corners of the nail is missing any polish due to it being filed off.. Overall extremely messy finish as leaving the salon. Left as soon as the service was over, not caring to fix the issues as I saw no solution - also worried for the health of my well maintained nails due to the excessive drilling that left my nails completely raw.

   Used to be good but not anymore. Waiting time is over an hour. Place is so dirty, food everywhere. She has her phone by my ear with loud noise. Over charges for refills. Sometimes even $80 and new set is $90. Only takes her 10 mins and they dont last at all or your lashes will be stuck together. Nails are rushed when done & dont last. Afterpay can only be used on "eye tatto" doesnt make sence when afterpay should be on all services. They pretend their eftpost doesnt work, so you can pay them cash or bank transfer.

   Went in to get my nails done, left with the acrylic tip completely seperate from my nail and thus they all kept catching on things. I booked to go back to get them fixed, and was left waiting outside a locked door for which they did however in doing so they ripped all the past acrylics off all my nails without soaking or filing and made my nails bleed. I have been to many nail salons and this is by far the worst I have been too in a long time. Would not recommend. I have attatched images of my nails in the first instance where the tip was completely seperate from my nail and the second where they ripped my nail off and made me bleed under the acrylic.

   First time getting my lash extensions at Sophia Beauty Lab and it was a great choice!! I showed them a picture of classic extension but i told them i wanted it to look natural as i didn’t want it to be too thick and they did exactly what i asked for. I’m in love with my lashes and will definitely go back here! The workers are also very nice and lovely
