   I ordered the family pack chicken biryani, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The chicken was tender and seasoned just right. I had almost given up on finding good biryani on the North Shore, but now I’ve finally found my place.    Mountain Spice Indian takeaway is located at 16 Raynes Avenue, Forrest Hill, Auckland. It offers traditional Indian culture and delicious dishes from North India and South India, Indo-Chinese cuisine.I liked this place - the dishes all tasted freshly prepared from quality ingredients. I have tried Tandoori chicken, Chicken lollipop, Chili chicken, main course Goat curry, Chicken biryani, butter naan, and cheese garlic naan. and tried the vegetarian dishes but they were excellent. Highly recommended. you should try lovely food. Thank you

   Delicious Indian take away! The chili chicken was flavorful with just the right amount of heat, and the goat curry was rich and tender. Both dishes were bursting with authentic spices. The naan bread complemented the meal perfectly. Exceptional service and value for money. A must-try!

   This place is our new favourite Indian on the shore! I personally loved the vibe inside. It’s super colourful, positive and inviting. The man who served us was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious - the cheese & garlic naan was super cheesy - what a treat. I would highly recommend eating here! It’s fantastic to have a highly rated Indian takeaway on the shore! Worth the 10 minute drive. Will be going back next week.

   Reas the reviews first and they were all great! So I decided to try these guys after being loyal to my other Indian takeaway shop for years....let's just say i wish I changed sooner. These guys are AMAZING....the food is incredible and generous portions. Absolutely delicious 10/10

   Walking in, the waiting area is nothing to write home about, but oh boy did the food taste amazing. I got the Butter Chicken, and it was probably the nicest Butter Chicken I've ever had. Food didn't take too long to be cooked, and the staff seemed nice. Don't let the look of the store deceive you, as at least from my first impressions eating from there, it won't disappoint
