Tucked among a cluster of restaurants, this unique spot is challenging to find but well worth the effort—you won't be disappointed! I'd suggest you make a reservation if you're going on the weekend. The drink menu is as exciting as it is different and we sampled a selection of their expertly crafted cocktails. You could see the bartender's seriousness in making the perfect drink. I especially enjoyed the Milenta Margarita, though my tastebuds danced with joy with the Milenta Tropic as well. Don't overlook the Milenta Pickeltini. The service was impeccable, with the wait staff operating in unison to ensure our top-shelf dining experience. Special shout out to Carlota; she was great. Prices were reasonable, portions very generous and able to watch the kitchen's open-fired grill in action added to the excitement. We thoroughly enjoyed the Grilled Octopus; tender and delicious. The Chicharron (Pork Belly), one of my favorites, was outstanding and the best I've ever had. The pickled mango slice was an added surprise. The Charred Wagyu Short Rib is to die for. Bring your appetite as this is a large portion - or share. Lastly the Grilled Market Fish was divine, elegantly prepared and cooked perfectly. Every bite of our meal was amazing. Oh yes, and dessert .. The Caribbean Suspiro exceeded expectations .. Dulce de leche crema, Malibu and burnt meringue! The chef brings a hot spatula to your table; quite artistic and very delicious.

One of the hidden gems! Wonderful service, lovely place and food is spectacular! We enjoyed a set menu (all of the dishes are just delicious!) and finally found a great wine list! As most of the venues in Auckland have a supermarket range of wines it was a great surprise to see some new and authentic blends! We definitely will come back!

Beautiful restaurant, the smell of charcoal and the Spanish music makes you feel like you’re in South America. Food is amazing. The beef short ribs just melted in your month, juicy and tender. Fish had good portion and the sauce was lovely. Fried breads were hot and chewy, the tangy sauce was a great accompaniment. We ordered cabbage and broccolini as sides. Both were delicious and worked well with the main dishes. The only dish that wasn’t my cup of tea was the dessert, the burnt merengue was rich, sweet and too creamy. I felt like it lacked other textures. But overall, loved our first visit and would definitely go back to try other dishes.

Highly recommend this restaurant, would come here again. Love the atmosphere and liked how their roof can be roofless and let airflow through. We had their winter menu, the Fresh Pacific oyster. Although I am not a big fan of oysters, this was fresh and delicious. Chicharron (Pork Belly) is probably one of our favourites, although the lean of the pork belly was a little rough, but it was flavourful and the pair with pickled mango was a combination that matches well unexpectedly. Bone-in Ribeye, we loved the bone marrow part, it's packed with flavours and paired well with the meat. I also recommend getting the charred cabbage,it was delicious. Grilled King Tiger prawn, maybe it could’ve had more flavour, but other than that, pretty good. The grilled octopus was nice, it wasn't too firm or chewy, which we loved. Not to mention their service was on spot. Can't forget about the dessert, we had both of their desserts on the winter menu and they're both amazing.

After my kids finished their after-school classes, I searched for a well-rated restaurant along the way home and found this place. At first glance, it looked more like a romantic spot for couples than a family place, but it was getting late and the kids were hungry. I asked if we could have a table as long as my children stayed quiet — and the staff kindly said yes. The food was absolutely delicious — we had grilled octopus, chicken, fish, and potatoes. Every dish was tender and full of flavour, with perfectly balanced sauces. My kids loved it too! The staff were all sweet and gentle, which made the whole evening even better. Thank you for such a lovely dinner experience!

Hands down the coolest restaurant in Auckland! Love love love the South American themed menu with its wood fired cuisine deliciousness, and then there’s the indoor/outdoor setting that’s just so unique. We had such a great experience and will be back.

Milenta is crushing it. So distinct in its atmosphere, delightful in its service and delicious in its fire roasted food. Fortunate to have it in the area, so don’t sleep on it.

What an exceptional meal at Milenta last night! Food was phenomenal with unique flavours, and everything was perfectly executed. We had the fried paraoa with cheesy Jalapeño dip and trevally ceviche with yuzu horseradish cream for entrees. Yellow Belly Flounder with capers and crispy pork belly for main. Plus a side of beautifully roasted beetroot and carrot with smoked labneh. The wood fire brought a nice element of char and aroma to the dishes and we easily polished off all our plates. We even had room for dessert. Rhubarb and pear empanadas, drizzled with warm vanilla natilla.

Milenta. M is for melody, the song of South American food & wine. I is for innovation, found swirling through the smoked mascarpone wow how did they do that—mixed with the chilli chocolate tart it tastes like there’s a house fire in my mouth and I love it. L is for luxury, because you’ll spend too much and feel guilty then think hang on that was so yum I don’t regret it. E is for enchantment, as the moody lowlights hide your red wine teeth. N is for nurture, where the staff meet your every need. T is for try, ‘cause you hope the rest of Victoria Park Market will hurry up and pick up their game because it’s actually a nice part of town. A is for am I going back? Yes.

Best food I've probably had in New Zealand. The pork, on recommendation, was mind blowing. I never knew pork could be better than wagyu in a sense. The pineapple with it added an extra layer that cut through the fat and just put it on another level. Every dish here was amazing but I'll never forget the Kurobuta Pork chop.
