   Definitely do not recommend. I had my hair cut by Anthony and asked for a bob with layers, making it clear that I wear my hair straight so it needed to be well-blended. Unfortunately, the result was uneven, choppy, and not at all what I asked for. When I raised my concerns, Anthony said he wouldn't be available until the end of August. I saw Kane in the meantime, and while I’m genuinely grateful he tried to help, the cut was difficult to correct and I felt bad he was put in that position. Very disappointing experience overall. UPDATE: Hi Anthony, your defensive and condescending reply says far more about my experience than my review ever could.

   I’ve been going to Anthony at Anthony Bayers for a long time, and he’s truly the best! I never have to explain what I want—he just knows. Anthony is not only incredibly talented but also creative ; he understands exactly what will suit me best every time. He takes such good care of his clients, and I always leave feeling confident and looking my best. Highly recommend!

Not only am I always very pleased with the end result, the conversation and impromptu dance shows make it a very fun experience. A very fashion-forward salon with award-winning stylists.

   I’ve been seeing Anthony for over 20 years and I still fly back from Melbourne just to have him do my hair, he’s amazing! He did my wedding hair (which turned out perfectly), and he just always knows what will work best for my hair type and style. He’s incredibly skilled, knows his products inside out, and always has great tips. Plus, he’s hilarious, appointments with him are like therapy and a comedy show in one. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

   I can’t endorse this salon enough. Professional is the primary adjective that springs to mind. They know their stuff. Whatever you’re after, you’d be comfortable to leave it in their very capable hands. The salon itself has a good ambience, clean, tidy etc and it’s on ponsonby road- but with reserved parking for customers! I was offered a drink and when asked for the second time, accepted and with it was the tastiest biscuit. Anyway, they sorted my ruined hair from too many lockdowns and access to powder bleach and developer. Just grateful enough to have a place that I can now go to with confidence rather than hope. Inspired me enough to write this review which isn’t generally my thing. Thanks Anthony and Sonita.

   Loved it here. A little space on a busy street. Beautiful customer service and amazing talent. Had my hair cut by Sonita (who just won an award). She handled my mop of hair so well! I love my hair cut and look forward to going there again.

   Anthony and Sonita were amazing, very nice service and very professional. I haven’t been to a hair stylist before but i will definitely be getting my hair done here again. Very impressed would recommend if you’re after a new look, or even just a touch up, these guys will not disappoint and you’ll leave with a smile looking like a new person.
