   Such a wonderful place! Amazing food, affordable prices, and incredibly tasty dishes. The service by Jyoti was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We’re visiting Auckland from Wellington and decided to try this place on a whim, and honestly, it turned out to be a fantastic decision.    This is a nice and decent sized south Indian restaurant conveniently located on New North Road in Kingsland. We went there on a friend's recommendation and enjoyed the weekend unlimited south Indian food buffet. It was worth the $20 price per person and $10 for kids. The items served were Sambhar, Dosa (made to order to minimise wastage), Vada, Idli, chutneys, rice, lemon rice, upma and sweet halwa along with some other items too. We enjoyed the meal a lot and all the items were freshly prepared along with great taste altogether. Dosas were being made to order on the spot, which ensured least wastage and one could get fresh and hot dosas. Tea was also served afterwards which was tasty and refreshing. The location is easily accessible and a few on street paid parking spots are available. If one can go a little far, free parking can be found easily on weekends and evenings. Overall, we had a great time there and highly recommend the place for meals and especially the unlimited buffet on weekends.

   I came here because I saw the name driving past. Idly is not often offered in other Indian restaurants in New Zealand. When I entered I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was the only non Indian in the place, (which is always a good sign in my opinion) and a buffet was set up for lunch. When I asked one of the team members they explained what all the different dishes and sauces were. Everyone was super friendly. After a sampling round I had two more servings. I especially enjoyed the dosas which were being made to order. Delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

   Good spot for South Indian food. We tried Dosa and the kids ate idly, it was prepared fresh. The staff was very warm and helpful. We also drank coffee, which was not a traditional filter coffee but it was good. Good spot to enjoy Dosas.

   New fine dine restaurant (opened in Apr 2023) serving authentic vegetarian and vegan South Indian cuisine in Kingsland. Great location, adequate food choices, friendly service, tasty food, and cool decor. Look forward to see few popular north Indian or Mumbai items added to the menu.

   Presentation 10/10. Upma was perfect. Price are perfect for the portion they are serving. Just to maintain little cleanliness and table service. Please make sambar a bit spicy will be perfect with dosa.
