   I’ve heard that the chef has changed recently, and it really shows — the quality of food is on a completely different level. We had the Bulgogi meal set, handmade pork cutlet, spicy pork meal set, beef soup, and pork bone soup — and every dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, not overly sweet, salty or spicy, but full of depth. The portion sizes were just right, side dishes can be refilled for free, and the price is very reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants in Auckland.

   I had a great experience here! The food was delicious, especially the beef soup (Seollongtang) - it had a deep, comforting flavor. The side dishes were fresh and varied, adding so much to the meal. On top of that, the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

   They have authentic and unique menu. We ordered the Beef Bone Soup (seollgatang) and Pork Sausage Soup (seundaegeuk). High quality meat, tender and thinly sliced. Hearty broth, my wife says it’s one of the best blood sausage she had. The seafood pancake was crispy with tender squid and shrimp. They gave us freshly cooked lotus roots. The other condiments were delicious, including the black bean tofu skin. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will come back to try the other menu.

   I got the pork cutlet for takeaway. It was still crispy at home, and the portion was generous. Personally, I like to have the sauce on the side. That way, it goes even better with kimchi!! Highly recommended!

   I ordered bibimbap as a healthy meal. The combination of fresh vegetables, just like the ones I had in Korea, was well-balanced and neatly presented. The bulgogi was served separately, allowing me to fully enjoy its own flavor, which made the dining experience more enjoyable and enhanced my appetite. I would love to visit again.

   Had the king pork cutlet menu that was recommended the most. The sauce and fried were delicious and there was a lot. I want to try another menu next time. Lady serve us was super friendly and sweet.

   Really great, delicious soft tofu spicy soup. Great flavours, the right amount of spice and it even had a generous helping of squid that was perfectly cooked. Side dishes were also free to refill which was nice. Would definitely visit again.

   Worst of worst. Served with uncooked food. No apologies from the owner at all. Disgraced and disgusted in terms of their service and the owner’s attitudes towards customers. Used to be one of my fav restaurants in Auckland but turns out to be the worst now. Seriously the owner needs to learn how to listen to the feedbacks from customers. Never going to come back and will never recommend this place to anyone I know.

   Had 2 dishes below Bean soup with rice: very blendy tastes and has a little kick. Galchi Jorim: guess the best galchi jorim in NZ. Radishes is just melting and fish is soft. And it looks spicy but no. souce is not too sweet not too spicy just perfect. Guess this is only one restaurant in nz having real Korean taste. Definattely will try jorim again.
