Had a lovely experience at Amica! Jess took care of me very well, had a great consultation prior to my appointment and felt she really listened to what I wanted. She explained everything so well to me, and guided me through my Pinterest inspo photos on what would work for my hair. Got a lovely cut, blended full head of foils & a root melt and am in love with it- plus the reasonable price is a bonus! Will definitely be back again, thanks Jess!!
Jason is the BEST! What I love about the experience I have at this salon is that he listens to what I like (which I find a rare quality) goes over and beyond making sure I am happy. Always a great colour and cut. Prices are one of the best in Auckland
I swapped to Amica on a friends recommendation after my previous hairdresser shut down. It’s fair to say I’m incredibly fussy and found it hard to find a new hairdresser who could met my exacting standards. In saying that, Jess has been excellent choice. She does a great colour and blow dry and cuts my hair just the way I like it. I always get a lot of compliments after a visit. The other thing I like is the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the salon. Jess and Jason are friendly, outgoing and an amazingly talented team who I whole heartily recommend. They do a great job!

I've been going to Amica ever since it opened and I love it! Conveniently located right next door to the famous Gypsy Tea Rooms, you're always greeted with a warm welcome. Jason (my stylist) always gives a really attentive consultation, before we decide what to do this time round - and then it just happens while I relax, enjoy the mags, range of beverages (including wine) and excellent music choices. The Amica crew always have the best magazines and great conversation. Jason gives the BEST head massage. And I always leave with EXACTLY what I wanted, which is why I've stayed so long. It's always a pleasure to go to Amica, if you're thinking of booking. Do it! You won't regret it.
The staff at Amica Boutique are all so lovely, friendly and helpful. Jason from Amica Boutique has being my hairdresser now for around 7 years. Within that time he has always made my hair look amazing. Due to my hair being long he is always super careful to make sure that the condition of my hair is maintained when I have chosen to go for lighter highlights. Jason has transformed the colour of my hair to exactly what I was after. Jason's cut and styling of my hair is always perfect and he takes the time to make sure that my hair looks exactly how I want it to. I have found Jason so helpful and a wealth of knowledge with helping me choose the right colour for my hair. I would highly recommend Jason from Amica Boutique as in all the years I have been going to him he has maintained his high standard of work and I always leave the salon feeling so happy with the results.
Jason and Kirsten are two talented hairdressers and to top it off they use Organic Colour Systems which is the cleanest and most ethical colour range in the world. I highly recommend the Amica experience.
Admittedly I have been going to the same barber for a good few years. I liked it there. Familiar bred content. However, under pressure from the beloved I found myself seated at Amica, owner/manager/stylist Kirsten Lloyd telling me that my directions on the haircut I wanted where not in my best interests. Her skill, attentiveness and most importantly the outcome of her decisions about my new look have proved to be very much in my best interests. I work with people every day, facilitating or training different groups of people. Groups who now consistently tell me I "look sharp" "flash" "hot" even! Thank you Kirsten and Amica, it's been a good year, free of hair style decisions, enjoying unsolicited compliments on those decisions. I really like the new salon too, better location nice and open. Now, about the magazines, there doesn't seem to be a cricket title among them. I am sure it's just a temporary oversight.
