My son asked for a fade from the sides and at the back but the barber shaved it 4 inches on the sides and 6 inches at the back. He was not asking for a military cut. He advised you what he wants but you did what you just wanted. He told you that he is not happy with what you did and still you asked him to pay $40 for your mistake. He came home very unhappy and wanted to cry. Second photo is what his hair before going to your shop. 3rd photo is what he was requesting.
Make sure you ask him how much for a cut before he charges you $50. He will try to rip you off if you're not careful.
The guy was friendly but I've never received such terrible hair/ beard trim in my life. He didn't listen to me at all, and instead kept saying, "Stop talking, I have 35+ yrs experience, I'm very good at what I do". Still recovering from it lol. Never going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Fantastic haircut every time. Both my son and I go there regularly now. Recommended to my friends as well and they love it. And Bob is the coolest barber you ever get to meet.
If you want to get a great service from a man who has spent all his life around barber art and barbershops you should definitely visit Bob The Barber. The place is not super fancy, but Bob's experience is over 30 years, he has a firm grip and gentle touch.Thia is by far the best barber in Auckland. Highly recommended.
Oh well, He did exactly the opposite of what I requested him to do. He did not listen to me at all. He said "Hey mate I have 30+ years of experience. I know what suits you". Next day after the hair cut, I went to work. At least 10 people laughed at me. At least 5 people did not even recognise me! It was humiliating. It has been one and half months since I did my hair cut now. Still my hair is short and uneven. He charged me $25 saying that he is giving me a discount as the usual price is $30 as he has 30+ years of experience in his field. A good barber always listens to his client's needs. He was friendly indeed but not a good listener at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
