Have been here just twice before and their roast pork meal was really nice, brought one tonight, small one for $15 and it was tasteless. The gravy was watery with no flavour, the potatoes and kumara had a weird taste and even the pork had no flavour. The only tasty part was the crackle, wont be going back.
This used to be the best roast dinner place on Peninsula. But O MY goodness Just have just paid $21 for the roast pork meal. The pork was cooked well but with no love whatsoever. It was absolutely tasteless. We got one and one half small pieces of crackle as limp as. The gravy was thickened water tgat the apple sauce dissappeared into with no taste. 1piece of Kumara and piece of pumpkin that was too small to share. And honestly about a small desert spoon of peas. It was appalling
This is the best place to go on Te Atatu Peninsula! We've compared it to the place next door and Peninsula Roast was definitley by far the best. We've tried the lamb and pork so far and both were so tender and delicious. We would aways come back to this place whenever we crave a roast meal.
We travel from South Auckland to buy chicken nibbles. They are tasty and seasoned very well. Nice little spot.
Just gave these guys a go and I have to say the chicken nibbles are not bad. I enjoyed, although it could be a little bit crispier. The chips were seasoned just right. Loved it! I think I know where to get some wings for our games night next time.
Their chicken nibbles are the best iv tasted so far, has that sweet taste to it which makes its finger lickin good....they have deals displayed on their shop window. Would try their roast meal next time when im in the area again.
Very tasty chicken pieces ($2.90 each) Potatoes are quite average without any seasoning and dry. Meal deals available. Pork Roast Meal was nice but too much potato and not enough pumpkin and kumara. Service was quick, but with no real customer engagement.
