Location perfect for us and our all based family. Rooms clean with a private outdoor area. Beds comfortable. It's great for the price. We left our phone there during to a middle of night checkout we couldn't get back in. They sorted with our daughter to pick up and send. We will be back when in Akl again.

Great cheap, and clean. Older style motel, but it was clean, had a hot shower, plenty of room for the kids and comfy beds. Lost one star because the shower was a bit too old!

I think some of the reviews are a bit unfair, honestly. The motel isn't pretending to be something it isn't. The price is exceptional value for money for in Auckland. The room was well equipped with a double bed and two singles and all the kitchen utensils and appliances you could need. The bathroom was clean with a good shower. The swimming pool was nice to have but our three year old had a sniffle so we decided not to use it, my only feedback would be the pool could be cleaner considering it's the middle of summer but still not enough for an issue to mark them down.

Booked the family apartment for 1 night. Double bed downstairs, 2 singles for the kids upstairs. Beds were comfy and we all had a great sleep. Apartment was clean and fully stocked when we arrived around 2:30pm. The person at the front desk was quick, friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool (it is a bit small but was perfect because we were the only family there at the time we used it). There isn't anything else there for the kids to do but that didn't bother us. I kept my expectations low because of the other google reviews so I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Well furnished rooms with everything that we needed. Set up had 2 single beds at the top of a steep staircase but also had a fold out bed downstairs which was great for our younger children. Great stay, thank you!

I wouldn't recommend for families to stay here. I had come into this lodge for emergency housing and yes I'm truly grateful I had a place for my babies and myself. On arrival I had to deal with bed bugs, ants and mouse. The floor wasn't clean and some of the surfaces weren't clean. I had cleaned the whole place to myself till 11pm, keep in mind I arrived around 630ish. It had to be done so that my babies and myself could sleep in a clean and comfortable space. All I had asked from the stuff if I could use the vacuum I was told to wait 15 mins time went by, I had asked again I then was told I'll need to wait the next morning (stink attitudethe whole time) I said no I need the vaccum now please I then proceed to tell the staff why I really need it the place was disgusting. Her reply it's not my problem. WORK AND INCOME PLEASE DO BETTER FOR OUR PEOPLE. Yes I'm grateful to have a roof over my head but come on there got to be standards!!!

Recommend looking somewhere else. Tried ringing for two days with no answer. Turned up to find no one running office even after ringing bell, knocking and even using car horn for attention. Don't waste your time.

Driving up and down pakaranga Rd is disgusting...send someone out to clean up the rubbish.... been there for a few days. Why don't u get a jumbo bin to collect the rubbish...very embarrassing.

Highly enjoyed our two week stay in this Motel . Myself and my 2 daughters were greeted with a smile daily from Pooja and the house keepers. The kids had fun on the tramp and in the pool .They also liked the fact that the 2 single beds were upstairs. Maybe in further years they will have individual spas out the back in that beautiful secluded space.

Walking into the room you'd have an immediate sense of 'homeliness'. Everything looks, feels and smells clean! Kitchen is well equipped, enough to be able to prepare your own food. Staff is really nice and friendly. Surely will come back in the future.
