Stay here regularly for work. The owner, Tony is a great guy who does his level best to look after you. Priced well for what you get. Has a pool, great WIFI and rooms to suit anything you might be after.
From start to finish an absolute delight. Our host Tony was beyond accomodating, the staff polite and friendly, rooms comfortable, spacious and tidy. Couldnt ask for somewhere better to lie your head and have your needs taken care of whilst away from home. Thank you sooo much.
Not very impressed. Single room was clean and tidy but nowhere to get a glass of water or fill the jug except in the bathroom. Nowhere to clean dishes with provided dish wash liquid unless that's meant to be done in the bathroom too. $179 for 1 night and tea and coffee provided but no milk even though checked in late and dairy was closed. Over all clean. But definitely very over priced for the camp ground environment.
Lovely place. Well equipped unit. Except the spa didn’t work. We chose this one because of the spa! It was getting late, and we were already "soaking" when we found out. I mentioned it when we checked out. The man laughed and said that it was probably a faulty switch that he hadn't fixed yet. So he must have known. Yet he still rented it out as a unit with a spa!
We stayed here for a night after the recent Pearl Jam concert and would absolutely stay here again. Once we got out of the city and on the motor way it was a quick trip back to our unit. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. Service was fabulous. The motel was easy to find and well situated.
Not The Best I'M Afraid! The two stars are for the service ladies. They are warm and friendly. The location is also convenient - there is a dairy and hairdresser across the motel and it is 5 min drive to Pukekohe centre. The manager is RUDE! Mine was a long term stay. One day, at the middle of my stay he came at 9:30 am and forced me to move from my room to another! He knew that I have mobility issues and that it would be very difficult for me to pack, shift and unpack, but that didn't stop him. The rooms are dated and the appliances, especially the fridge in rooms 2 and 5 are long past their "Use by" date. Rusty, noisy and smelly. Room 2 has a decent internet connection, but room 5, which is down the driveway has no internet. One must go outside to make a phone call or to hook up on the net. I do not recommend BK's Counties Motor Lodge.
Was ok both times we have stayed here it was disappointing as last year we booked a room with spa bath and they gave us a diff room with no spa, this time I did get a spa bath and it didn’t work not sure why we got charged $239 for the night. Last year it was $179.
The pool was green. Promised on numerous occasions that it was going to be swimmable but didn't ever eventuate. Rooms toted as premium but dated and disappointing. Sash of cleanliness on toilet every day but quite often not even cleaned. Good location close to Pukekohe township.
A lovely place to relax and stay. Feels like the guests' comfort has been genuinely considered. The two-seater recliner sofa is a real treat in a motel studio unit. The shower dome reduces noise and steam in the bathroom, the kitchen is very well-equipped, the bed comfortably firm, the layout of the room pleasing, everything clean and well-presented. The pool is a wonderful bonus in summer. Highly recommend.
