Got the chicken fried rice, chips, spring roll and hotdog. Fried rice was good value and the chips, spring roll and hotdog is what you would expect from most kiwi fish & chip shops. Overall satisfied and impressed with pricing and quality. Will be back again soon :D
I come here for dumplings and the Chinese platter , they are yummy big and juicy I only get steamed dumplings but good for price. I usually get like 15 for $15 steamed. And the Chinese is good value but been trying to look around other places. I’ve gotten fish and chips from here wouldn’t recommend, they were burnt and the fish not so yummy. But would recommend dumplings ☺️ The service is always nice and caring always telling me be careful cause hot lols
Delicious fried nibbles! Really crispy and flavorful batter. The 2 scoops of chips seemed a bit less than anticipated. Also got the Singapore Fried Noodles - tasty, except the roast pork as the protein not the choice I would make - would prefer something that held the flavour better. Overall though, reasonably good value for money - will pop by again to try some of the other dishes!
Inedible food, terrible service and confusing prices. Ordered chicken chow mein, orange beef and some wontons. Way too much soy in the chow mein and chicken tasted past it, orange beef was basically just batter (contained the thinest sliced beef) in a sauce with no resemblance to orange beef. The 'deep fried wontons' were microwaved. Also the prices make no sense when ordering quantities of things, they get more expensive the more you get, wontons $4.80 for five or $9.80 for 10. More than double the price, pretty sure that isn't legal. Do not recommend.
The guy wouldn't let me finish my order?? I asked for 2 scoops of chips and went to say my next thing, and he just started saying and then yelling "$9" at me on repeat? I was super confused so just walked away... my friend had to order for me as he'd already placed his order. Not coming here willingly again.
best take out place in the Hutt...love how they make yummy dumplings and their platters are very affordable. Try them out guys
Chips weren’t even cooked, tasted as though they just heated it up in a microwave, ordered 4 scoops which is plenty @ the fish and chips store in Trentham but with these guys it was tiny like 2 scoops. Won’t be returning.
Hi everyone just to let you know don't go to this Fishing chip Shop. I went home thinking I was going to enjoy my fishing chips. When I took a bite the fish & chips were salty and yuck. The fish was rotten too as well. So please read my review before you go there
Ordered a spicy chicken for dinner, But not much meat inside, full of flour and over salty, if any meat inside, also spoiled. Never go back.
