   Goods arrived damaged and I requested a replacement. Your team initially agreed, but then expected me to pay to return the damaged item — which is completely against the Consumer Guarantees Act. The real issue here isn’t the shipping staff; it’s management. The person who called had no understanding of how to handle a CGA claim, and instead of owning the mistake, the response from management has been to go silent. It looks like the preferred strategy is to bury the complaint and hope the customer goes away. I’m not going anywhere. In Response to the below : I return bag should be sent without any further cost to the customer - this wasn't offered and the expectation was I paid for the return. This is FULLY against the CGA.

   I am not impressed by your website, its ok shopping, buy when it comes to ordering......different story. Tried several times yesterday to log in / register? website did not want to accept me??? Today I ordered 1 item (finally got in) from my cart and it kept coming up with 2 items! I tried to reset the quantity, no go . So I cancelled the lot and redid the order! If this keeps happening i will be looking at an other shop! I will wait and see what happens. Kind (frustrated) Regards, Wim de Jong

   On-line shopping this time. Had most of what I wanted easily found. And those items already shipped. Nevertheless their website search function is pretty awful: Try searching for "1/4 inch Straight cut router bit", and see the huge range of items which may have one of those words in! But aren't any help at all. Visit or phone is better.

   While a part of the order was broken in Transit I contacted Carbatec and Glen accepted the problem and dispatched a replacement part immediately - great service and thanks for acceptance the breakage was Carbatec's responsibility. Great product!!

   Quality gear, sold by knowledgeable staff. My experience was generally good, but I bought a selection of machinery that was going to have some extras included. I bought over the phone, and upon pickup most of the extras were reneged upon. Kinda ruined it a bit for me.
