Hard working owners and friendly couple. Been there for awhile. Their food never disappoint me. One of my quick go to when I need a roti. Competition with next doors mart is quite challenging but holding their own. I love their mushroom rotis although they have a variety you can choose from.
Ordered 12 pack chicken nibbles with chips and a warehou crumbed fish filled with an extra scoop of chips. Wouldn't buy again in all honesty. Fish had a funny taste and had a strong smell. Chips were tasteless and chicken nibbles had no taste and not very pleasant to eat. Not sure what happened to the food quality and very disappointed as I was a regular customer and this use to be tue go too fish and chip shop to order from. Not worth the $38 spent on food and will not be going back in the future
My favourite fast food in Hutt Valley. They refreshed the design of the menu and added some new positions.
Had Tarakihi Fish Meal $18.50. Comes with 2 eggs, coleslaw, chips, big piece of fish (crumbed but can get battered), lemon wedge and tartare sauce. Great value for money. Meal was AMAZING!!
My go to place for their Oysters !! Cooked and seasoned so nicely with a lemon piece to go on top . Love their roti wraps as well . Favourite would be the steak & cheese which i usually get if i order from here. Lovely owners as well and always welcoming ,especially when i first visited the place .
A waste of my $40 never again. Fish smelt as soon as we unwrapped parcel, fish was dry az and the deep fried meat patties were so saturated in oil that there was no crisp or crunch, the batter was so soggy that the pattie just flopped around. What a shame as I use to really like there deep fried meat patties. Boo.
It is a take away shop. However, there are some tables and chairs if you want to eat onsite. The fish and chips are just right including the serving size. Parking is available on street.
If you are in Taita and want a meal you can trust! Then visit Samos Seafood and Roti Haven. It may not be the cheapest in Taita but they do focus more on quality products.
