   This is the first time ever that I wrote such a negative angry reviews about a business. I took my car here for a quote,the RECEPTIONIST said the only person who could do damaging assessment was not around. Then magically, he just showed up right in front of us.Who Knows if that lady lied about it or not.Then I had waited for a week and had to call to ask if the quote is ready. POOR COMMUNICATION.Long story short, last thing I wanted to mention was someone got charged $80 for the assessment fee when the lady didn't mention any of it when we were there! Sent them an email and she didn't even bother to reply. Well, glad we didn't have the car repaired with them. Lady at the reception,just because you are the one of the owners ,it doesn't mean you can treat the customer like this!!

   Absolutely stunned and appalled by my experience. I regret visiting this place for an assessment. Lady at the reception was extremely rude, aggressive and pathetic. Asked me to wait upto 2 hours after I handed over my car keys. She asked me whether I'm going to wait or leave because they have other stuff to deal with. I was promised a loan car and told that this will no longer be available for me. She said, the repair could take upto months Felt absolutely discriminated. Really sad after this experience.

   Made a last minute booking to have my car assessed for insurance. They fitted the job in and were even happy to store my car over the weekend as I couldn't get there to collect it until Monday. Great business to deal with.

   We took our car for assessment at DE McMillan after getting approval from our insurance company. There was no response from the insurance company after two weeks, so I checked with them to see what was happening. Our insurer advised that D E McMillan had not put the quote in despite being chased by them to do so. I phoned D E McMillan. The office woman told me that they had had a computer glitch (yeah right) and they will sort the quote out. I phoned D E McMillan back a couple more times to chase the quote and was told they overlooked putting the quote in (what happened to the computer glitch?). As we wanted our car back we agreed with the proposed repair schedule. - On the day we are meant to get the car back we got a phone call to say the car would be ready the next day. - The next day we get a phone call to say the car is ready, BUT they are still waiting for a part so we can collect the car and then bring it back the following day. Of course they said it was the courier company's fault; obviously it couldn't be the panel beater's fault for ordering it late. I didn't pick the car up. - The following day at 5:18 pm I received a text saying the car was ready for pick up. I replied that I would pick it up the next morning. - When I looked at the car it was obvious that the panels they had painted were the wrong shade. The panel beater must of known it was the wrong colour after it was painted. If you are looking for a panel beater that WON'T do what they promise, this is a good one to chose. When I told them I wasn't happy with the way I had been treated the response was a condescending "I'm sorry you feel that way". D E McMillan Ltd are Wombles
