   I come here every few months, I hate to say that my latest visit was extremely unpleasant . I ordered about five dishes for two, most of the dishes were slightly different from before, and noticeably more salty. The Pancake and Soft Tofu were especially salty almost inedible, taste like nothing but condiment. I took the pancake back home and added a thick layer of lettuce yet it’s still too salty for consumption. And why would I dine there if the buns just taste like the frozen buns they sell in the supermarkets? The two waitresses working there apparently do not care about the restaurant or customers. They were chatting in our face while we eat, couldn’t be bothered to say a thing when I pay, ordering drink from next door, and left the shop to hang outside before we even left. We were made to feel like a massive inconvenience. They used to make good food here, it’s sad to see the quality dropped so much since they have become more successful, and possibly moved their focus to wholesale .

   Tried the spicy beef noodles, Chinese pancake, and the OG pan fried mini buns. The noodles and Chinese pancake were quite basic nothing particularly special, though the noodle portion was generous. Out of everything, my favorite was definitely the pan fried mini buns. They had a nice, flavorful filling and were cooked just right.

   I ordered a Chinese pancake with crumb chicken today. Unfortunately, I received a cold pancake, which they explained was due to it waiting for the chicken to cook. This explanation seemed untruthful, as the pancake didn't taste fresh. I'm quite disappointed. Honesty is paramount in business. Regarding your response: My order was taking about 10 mins including your cooking time, it is absolutely impossible the pancake will get cold like that. Just do not do it for your future customers, it is not cool.

   Pork belly on rice was amazing. The deep fried potatoes in it was such a surprising treat. We also had the tasting box of buns and dumplings which were also really good. Service was also super friendly.

   Have previously been here at least 30 times with no issues. This place has always been a favourite and I have always ordered the vegetarian fried noodle. Its always come with a fried egg on top. Came in today to order the vege fried noodle and it came with no egg. Spoke to the staff member and she said it had never come with a fried egg on top. Even the website shows a picture with a fried egg on top. The chefs wouldn’t cook a fried egg. I got home to find that the vege fried noodle had chicken in it. Absolutely disgusting service

   Absolutely fantastic. I’ve been coming here about three times a week since it opened (I work nearby). Always packed with people during the week, food is fresh and authentic and the chef and staff clearly love what they do. You absolutely can’t go wrong here, best steam dumplings in the Shore (possibly in Auckland?) without a doubt.

   Really enjoyed this place, was a light atmosphere but this was a Sunday, not sure what it is like during the working days. Kai very good though, the dumplings were absolutely exceptional. Lovely people that run this place, very friendly and happy. Only moan is size of eating area (not much room) & the lack of cooling inside (summer), however there is a couple of outside seats which we should have probably gone too. Will definitely be back again. End of the day it's a good wee dumping shop, good on you guys and thanks, see you again sometime.
