Bruce quoted on and cleared my mother-in-laws retirement village unit. He came out of business hours, and his team were prompt, friendly and helpful.
I see many reviews are from people moving overseas, whereas we are the opposite and I had checked out the store online before arrival and was top of my list to visit. We weren't disappointed, spent almost $2,500 over 3 visits to the store on some beautiful solid timber furniture and a beautifully comfortable bed, which is perfect for my medical condition and I had my best sleep on it, since returning home 12 days ago. We found the various in-store staff approachable, friendly and helpful and the two young guys who made two deliveries to our new home were the bomb! Highly recommend Transit Traders and regular visits to see what is new in the store.
Would give them no stars if possible. Wasted my time and left me in a tough spot. Bruce (the owner) came in and saw the furniture. He gave a quotation for all items. Discussion with them all in agreement to start pickup of all items over the course of 2 days. They arrive in the morning only to tell me that it will involve too many man hours and will not be worth the effort. Point to learn: DO NOT QUOTE AND ACCEPT JOBS IF YOU CANNOT DELIVER ON WHAT YOU STATED!
Thank you to Tony and the team for your excellent service and making our overseas move less stressful. They were fair in pricing and were very pleasant to deal with. Definitely recommend Transit Traders to provide a convenient option when moving.
Communication was fast and efficient as was Tony. He came on a public holiday, priced the furniture and then took it by himself capably handling even big items. I can't comment on the price because for me it was all about the convenience and speed of service.

Too expensive - its second hand furniture people. Offered $15 for a $20 item...no negotiation, just no. Thats what second sales are all about! Better it sells discounted now than sits and maybe sells later. Thanks anyway.
Amazing service - phoned in morning, and by the afternoon a. Great guy gave us a fair price for our house lot of goods - loaded up and done on the spot. Honest and no pressure to accept etc - highly recommend transit traders
