In my many years of supporting our Local Quinns Post, I have had the most disappointing experience today. Walked in around 2 oβclock to ordered fries and a banana thick milkshake, was happy that my fires had came out 10 minutes after I order (even though they were slightly undercooked ) I then had asked where my milkshake was when our food was delivered to the table and he said not far then went to put my milkshake in the machine. Me and my father then finishes our meals before my milkshake made it to me ( took us around 15 minutes to eat ) we then had waited another 10 minutes at the counter waiting for it, mind you this whole time my milkshake is in the machine and on. Long story short, took 30 minutes it get my milkshake and when I got it, pure banana milk. Very upsetting after going here for years.

I went there 2 weekends in a row for celebration events. The 1st weekend was for lunch with about 15 of us. I got a small chicken schnitzel meal off the menu and it was lovely. The chicken was tender and the salad was lovely. Hubby got the steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Last night I went there for my fatherβs 80th birthday and there was around 25 of us. Well, the creamy garlic prawns were exceptional! It displayed more like a fine dining restaurant and it tasted like it too. Iβm going back for that! It was on the specials board. With both visits, the staff, service and food is why Iβm giving this βpubβ a 5!

First of all this is a pub not a fancy restaurant - set your expectations accordingly. Having said that the food is excellent value for money and a big range of options on the menu and specials board and an amazing selection of sweets in the cabinet. Have had the "small" beef burger here and it's just spot on, usually can't finish the fries that come with it (hey have small/large sizes that really should be described as big/huge). Friendly service at the counter, clean and tidy premises and what looked like a number of locals in for Monday lunch - clearly popular.

Had my first visit there for a weekday lunch and itβs pretty much a bar/cafe with a pokies room. Was slightly busy and their menu consists of light snacks, specials, main meals and desserts. The guy that took our order was very friendly and repeated our order to make sure it was all correct. The meals were great and the small portion of the big breakfast is ample enough to not be hungry after. The coffees however did come in a takeaway cup which was a bit of a disappointment but coffee tasted great. A few parking available on site and heaps on the street. Would definitely be back for another visit.

Lovely meal and excellent service, would pass on the butter chicken but the lamb shanks, Burgers and schnitzel was delicious. Didn't have to wait long and staff were great.

Dubious at first but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for the price. Beef burger was generous with two Patties. Friend got the scotch steak which was cooked to her liking. One of the staff members was hit and miss in regards to service⦠But overall good experience with a no frills honest pub.

Somehow I expected more. Always curious to try this place, but today was a first. The shakes were excellent, a rare thing these days. Her steak was good, but value at $27.00? Yeah, nah. My beef schnitzel was dry and wizzened and together with manky chips wasn't anywhere close to what I expected. Good ol' fashioned pub grub? I heard it used to be, but maybe not so much now. Should be 2 stars, but given it 3 coz their shakes were so good.
