   Our family loves Spice Kitchen's Butter Chicken! Upper Hutt has some amazing Indian restaurants but theirs is my favourite. Has the mango chicken tonight, it was yum! Not very sweet and overpowering like others I've had! Thank you!

   Absolutely love this Indian takeaway! Their Chicken Tikka Masala is hands down one of the best I’ve had — rich, and packed with flavour. Personally, I think the portions are generous, and you can tell everything’s made with care. The owner is always so friendly and welcoming, and every now and then they even throw in some free papadoms, which is such a nice touch. Great food, great people — highly recommend! :)

   The food from Spice Kitchen was full of flavor and generously portioned — the biryani was aromatic, the curries were rich and well-spiced, and the naan was soft with just the right amount of char. The papadums added a nice crunch to the meal, and everything was fresh and well-packed for takeaway. Service was very friendly and efficient, with the order ready on time and not a long wait. The only small note is that the curry could have been a touch hotter in a cold Wellington temperature on arrival, but the taste more than made up for it. The atmosphere in-store is warm and inviting, but even for takeaway, the quality and presentation stood out. Hopefully they would put up its wifi password so people would chill inside while waiting for tbe food.Definitely a go-to spot for authentic Indian flavors in generous servings.

   the entree was pretty good! I had the paneer pakora, chicken tikka and garlic cheese naan. However, the lamb korma was definitely not to my liking, very watery sauce, and the lamb pieces tasted weird unfortunately.... Couldn't bring myself to finish it. Chicken tikka was really large chunks of chicken, and was still raw.

   Thought I would try this place again based on recent reviews. Might give it another shot to try different dishes but personally the butter chicken wasn’t for me, wasn’t bad but was quite oily and kind of tasted like spicy tomato soup? Coconut rice was nice but again it was oily. My husband got a garlic naan which seemed to have very little garlic butter on it, he said it seemed closer to plain naan. Service was good, food was hot and ready on time

   Thought I would give Spice kitchen a try I usually go to Ammu but wanted to try a new place and have seen some good reviews. food arrived pretty fast but one Butter chicken wasn't the right spice level that I ordered (X1 Medium) instead got two very mild and pretty bland Butter chickens. Also got a garlic naan and a cheesy garlic naan (cheesy garlic was more expensive out of the two but was smaller) not to sure why when your paying more. Looked like there was charcoal on the bottom of one didn't really want to bite into that either. Not really worth the money I think I'll stick to the usual spot for next time

   I think this is the best butter chicken I’ve had in Upper Hutt. Not only did it taste great but the prices are so reasonable. Fed 4 with two full butter chickens. Friendly service.
