   IG: 2Fish1Chip Order: Fish & Chips, Corn Fritter and a sausage Cost: $16.60 The battered Warehou was about the average size and thickness, indicating the current environment for most Chippies. The flesh was tasty and fresh with no signs of an aged fillet. The batter was golden and crunchy with little oily residue. My beloved corn fritter took on a new twist. It appears that the batter mix usually used has been upgraded. It tasted and felt like mash potato with a light sprinkle of herbs. If it is, it’s a stroke of genius! It’s was something different and great to taste. A nice char on the outer giving it that nice bite to it. The chips, probably suffered though as I drove back home before devouring the goods. But I’m saying that the reminiscences of the ‘Chinese Chip’ was there just not at optimum heat levels due to the drive home. Portion was on the smallish side of scoops. Overall worthy of the rating and great value for money. Lovely jubbly
