   They made mistake by delivering the wrong parts, and i ended paying for all cost, cause the owner said `do not take any penny from my pockets` ! So I had to pay more and receive less warranty, less professional service by choosing them!

   So I requested them to do a WOF, and here's the story. Will try to be as objective as possible - you can decide for yourself. Summary: WOF failed, then he did the repairs without my authorization. He played evidence of the phone call that there was no authorization given. He wouldn't admit it, and forced me to pay anyway. Wednesday Saw the place had some pretty good reviews on Google, so thought could give them a go. We agreed to have the WOF done at 12.30pm. I arrived a bit late at 12.40pm and dropped off the car and left. 4.45pm came around and I still hadn't received any contact about the car, so I called them. No answer as they must have left by then (even though closing time is specified as 5pm on Google). Thursday In the morning (9.30am) received a call and was informed that the WOF had failed due to cloudy headlights, worn wiper blades, and rust on the front brake rotors. He gave the option of replacing the rotors or having them machined, and said potentially the brake pads may need to be replaced (he wasn't sure yet, as hadn't removed the wheels). Said the price would be around $400+ all up if replacing the rotors. I told him I'd think about it and call back. Called back at 11am. Asked him the price for machining the rotors and he said $50 each side, so $100 for both front rotors, but may need to replace brake pads too (for further costs). I said I might just come pick up the car now. He said "let me have a proper check" and he'd give me a call back. Around 2.30pm I receive a call from him. "Your car is ready for pick up". Said repairs are all done now. I asked how much? He sent invoice over sms, for $431 for machining the rotors, replacing brake pads, replace wiper blades and buff the headlights. I went in to the workshop to confront him about doing the repairs without my authorization. He said I authorized it. He had a recording of the conversation, so he played it. No sign of any authorization. I said I'd be happy to pay $200 as we hadn't agreed on the work. We were both a bit rude to each other. He got upset and said you either pay the invoice or leave the car here, and just stormed off to his office. I threatened to call the police, he said go ahead. Friday Went through MTA mediators to try and sort the issue, but he's still claiming I've authorized the repairs. Nothing can be done. I ended up just paying the invoice and taking my car back. My thoughts - the WOF and repair job was fine, not arguing about the quality of the job. Price charged wasn't outrageous either (though I thought it was a bit expensive). Regardless, the communication was not good. Having heard evidence that he was wrong, still he was stubborn and wouldn't admit he did any wrong. Hopefully this can provide some useful feedback for anyone reading this.
