We were a bit disappointed when we visited the bistro. We sat for 20 minutes with no one around asking us for orders. The tables were really dirty with smudges and stains. The food was okay ish. I ordered a lamb shank which was nothing but salty.

Relatively busy Saturday lunch time, table of 7 - drinks took 15mins (fizz & coffee) no access for prams on second level so we carried pram up, also made it hard for two 80yrs olds to get up there as lower was full. Food was ordered took 35 minutes for it all to come out (fair, it was busy) missed one plate of food - took another 15 mins for that one.. 2 x sides were missed - had to ask two waiters for that. The extra maple syrup & side of tomatoes took so long to come we had practically finished eating. French toast was nice but as stated - lacking syrup. would be great if maple syrup was offered on side. All in all, food was mediocre, mushroom toast was gigantic serving, sloppy stracciatella and cold food. 2 out of 7 of us enjoyed food, rest will not go back. Would expect better from a high end Bistro in Cornwall Park.

Such a beautiful restaurant resided on the top of the hill of Cornwall park. The coffee and food is amazing! Both the presentation and the taste 10/10. It’s well priced and delicious. The European guy server was funny and friendly. We enjoyed our lunch here very much. Highly recommend!

The food was outstanding which was to be expected. My girl and I went to celebrate our 21st Anniversary and it was a lunch date. The food was quick to come out and the staff were attentive but just a little bit cold for my liking. I get a warmer reception from McDonald's tbh. Elderly couple both slowly moving up the ramp to the door with walking sticks, lady was holding onto the rail with the other hand and no one was there at the front to help them in so I quickly rushed up to open the door and guided them through. Any decent human would've done the same but I get it, understaffed and everyone is busy but just trying to call out "extra for experts". All that adds to the service and atmosphere in my view. Also, the atmosphere would've been great if the guy from the other table didn't keep walking past trying to study what we were eating. Decided I'd had enough and eyeballed him. He got the message and never came back. Anyway... where was I again? Ah yes. The food was outstanding. Would I go back? Absolutely.

The food is divine and frankly the highlight. The setting was lovely with a stylish atmosphere. The lack of carpet and high ceilings make the rooms echo and hard to converse. The open doors on a cold day it very nippy. The wait staff were present but neglectful, drink refills and dessert menus should be offered. These are slight niggles that can be easily fixed, I would definitely try this again.

Really enjoyed the high tea here. Fresh, nicely presented and we left very full with takeaways too. Generous bowls of cream and berry coulis to go with the scones. This was our second time here...on both occasions the service doesn't feel overly welcoming or attentive

We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing. It was pretty close to full house. Coffee was strong and to my liking. Meals are well priced and generous portions. Service was good and foods were served in good time despite the busyness. Great atmosphere, airy and spacious. Toilets were well taken cared of too.
