   I recently hired a treadmill fir 3 months. Two people, Gary and Mason were extremely helpful. First, I was directed to the nearest shop, listened to, offered options and a recommendation. Next, I was shown how to use the treadmill and how to set up the direct debit at the bank. (Both were easy once I knew how.) Then it was put in the car for me. (I am old.) It all went seamlessly and with patience and courtesy. Thanks Elite Fitness, I confidently recommend you, you were great!

   I was explicitly told to come into the store to rent a spin bike so I'd be able to collect it, only to be informed upon arrival that none were in stock. This was a complete waste of my time. To make matters worse, the staff member serving us had a genuinely unpleasant attitude. There was a noticeable lack of interest or courtesy, which compounded the frustration of the visit.

   I was blown away by the variety of equipment at Elite Fitness in St. John’s. David was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to fit my needs. He even arranged a team to assemble my home gym. Chris, who finished the setup, was professional and made sure I understood how to use the equipment properly. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase. The support from Elite Fitness has been excellent. Highly recommend!

   Great experience buying a Schmidt treadmill from Elite Fitness St. Johns. Had the pleasure of having David help me. I really didn’t know what I needed, just didn’t want a great big treadmill, and being 77 didn’t need or want lots of bells and whistles. The Schmidt is absolutely perfect and I use it every day. He organised two of his staff deliver and setup the treadmill for me. Thank you Elite and thank you David ….highly recommend both. Claire

   I bought a NordicTrack treadmill from Elite Fitness three years ago, following a recommendation from one of the friendly salespeople in the store. It came with a ten-year warranty on the motor. Recently, the treadmill stopped working. A technician from Elite Fitness came and determined that the motor needed to be replaced, but because I had not used their "treadmill approved" silicone spray for maintenance, they voided the warranty. The cost of repair was very high, which led me to buy a new treadmill elsewhere. This felt like a marketing manipulation to either force customers to buy their silicone spray or avoid honoring the warranty. After this experience, I did some research and found that NordicTrack is indeed not considered a reliable brand based on user reviews. For context, I previously owned a different brand that worked fine for about ten years with the same silicon spray I used for this one. I admit that the service in the store is good (hence 2 star and not 1), but it’s easy to be friendly when you’re trying to make a sale.

   Looked on the website for quite a while before going into the store. The store had such a great setup and i was able to see what i wanted already setup. The manager was very helpful and i purchased a full cage, bench, bar and weights. The setup was really easy with well labeled parts. Really happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend

   Hate to share a bad review but you need to do something with your customer service especially when he claimed to be the manager, he really has a bad manner. I appreciate his insight but saying that he's trained as a personal trainer wouldn't cut it if you don't look fit and healthy, it means you don't believe in what you're preaching. People can get certifications and qualifications in personal training within 1-3 months. Also trying to push customers to buy something that we don't need will make you lose sales. This is 2023, all sales tactics are not secret anymore. I understand this guy David works on commission but be honest and just sell what customers need, no need to be pushy. We won't comeback.

   It was a dirty big showroom with dust everywhere, it looks like there was no one cared to clean up the dust on the treadmill machines and recumbent bikes. The ambiance is too dark that it feels like the shop tried to hide imperfections on the machines. The manager is lacking communication skills and cannot handle customers that walk in, very sloppy-looking person. Also looks like very short of staff. No one cares for customers on the second floor. You could do so much better with a place that big, just need to find someone who cares about the business. The way I see it...no one cares.

   The showroom looked nice but the guy on the reception was not helpful at all. If you don't want to be in customer service then maybe it's not the job for you. Pity because it wasn't just a monitor I wanted but with your superior attitude there was no way I would even consider looking at a treadmill after that. You lost a potential customer and sale because my initial enquiry held no interest or had commission in it. A great customer service representative takes the time and makes a customer feel welcome. As you pointed out it's Head Office well maybe they should move you on or get you some proper customer service training!
