   So my experience. I brought a car in for compliance 87000km rang rover. They Dismantled half the car for no reason in the process found a small dent behind the rear bumper that had previously been repaired nonstructural just cosmetic behind the rear bumper that’s fine. The disappointing part is that the inspector had his own panel shop and could have passed it with a different form beening not structural . So once the car was repaired, we received it back, broken clips. Missing clip, covers missing screws and on the way home one of the moulds flew off on the freeway. And not reassembled properly 4800$ later rubbish, workmanship bullshit lies and money grabs .

   I imported my car from Australia and it was sent here for compliance. For reasons I don't understand and without my consent they removed the window tinting when there was NO WAY it was as dark as some of the imports from Japan. Once it was removed the glue that held it on wasn't cleaned and we were told that it was our problem. 3 months later in the hot NZ sun the windows STILL stick which makes it difficult to open or close. When I called the day after bringing my car home to question it, I was condescendingly (I can only assume because I am female) told that it's not something they do anyway so I have to sort it out. Also re tinting will be between $300-$400, but it's not something they do.
