   Disappointing really. We had a Big Mac, McCrispy combo with Sprite and McWings with the hot honey sauce. Service was pretty poor. There was no acknowledgment or even eye contact at the payment window - just an arm thrust out with the card reader. Pickup was fairly quick however the drink lid was not fitted properly, resulting in a minor spillage. Both burgers were ordinary, the Big Mac a little dry. It took 5 minutes to get to the spot where we wanted to eat so the fries, with a shelf life of about 3 minutes, were doomed from the start. The wings, though, were very good, comparing favourably with KFC’s wicked things. The drink was another disappointment - if it was Sprite, they’d run out of flavouring, resulting in a fizzy not—quite-water.

   McDonald’s Lower Hutt is handy for a quick, late night or drive-thru meal. Had a good experience at McDonald’s Lower Hutt. The food was fresh, service was quick, and staff were polite. Drive-thru moved smoothly and the order was correct. It’s a reliable spot when you want fast food without hassle.

   The recent renovations look great, but unfortunately, the service hasn't improved. While some staff clearly work hard, others seem completely indifferent. I ordered a burger meal and found the bun had been thrown outside the wrapping, leaving the bag in a disgusting state. When I went to the counter to calmly highlight the issue, I was completely ignored. Very disappointing.

   It's just another Mc donalds really the same as its always been. Not the biggest fan of mc donalds but for reason kids seem to think it's awesome as where I just see food that used to be tasty affordable and fast which is what made it so popular in the late 80s early 90s but now you can get a steak meal cheaper than a mc donalds meal which to me says it all. It's no longer worth it IMO but each to its own. Yes id rather take Burger King there and eat it.

   I’ve consistently had disappointing experiences with this McDonald’s during late-night hours. On multiple occasions, I’ve received cold burgers and fries, suggesting the food may have been sitting out for some time before pickup. Most recently, I ordered ice cream through Uber Eats, and it arrived completely melted & had Spilt — which was really frustrating. Having worked at McDonald’s (Takanini) myself, I know how important it is to prepare and package ice cream only when the delivery driver has arrived, to ensure quality upon delivery. Unfortunately, this level of care doesn’t seem to be present here. The food and service quality need serious improvement. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks at ways to improve preparation timing and consistency, especially for late-night orders. --- Let me know if you'd like a shorter version or to adjust the tone (e.g. more firm, more formal, etc.).

   Myself and 8-10 other vehicles waited patiently in the drive thru for 20 minutes having a one way conversation with a metal box. I finally gave up and drove to the next window to be told some excuse about having to make coffees. I complained that at the very least this should have been communicated to us. Our order was then taken promptly and food ready within a couple minutes. Can not understand what the heck was going on. A very odd way to have our time wasted.

   WROST WORKER ON TONIGHT! No smiles at all!! What looked like the Manager and the lady taking orders on drive through were weeding hoody’s on the sleeves parted looked as it was used to wipe their noses! And when we asked or questioned we then got an attitude and ugly looks like “how dare we were to ask anything” just all over a bad look and uncomfortable to return again!

   I ordered just a medium chips and the printer on there self service machines doesn't work so I don't know what my number is. The staff were just placing orders on the side shouting out numbers and no one knew who's order was what. Then I get my order and get back to find I paid $5 for half a pack of chips!!! I will not be returning after having multiple issues with this store of late.

   Shout out to Vicky! Always bust cleaning and always has the best customer service! My son dropped his card into the bin and she happily fished it out and was very polite about the whole thing and reassured him it was ok! She deserves a pay rise or recognition.
