   Hello Hutt Ribs, I’ve never been in-store, but I’m sure it’s a lovely place to eat. I ordered through DoorDash, and it was delivered around 22:10 (under 30 minutes, quite standard), so maybe the person cooking just wasn’t having a good night. “Someone ordering at this time? Really? I want to go home.” — that kind of vibe. Hm, I did see the “buy one, get one free” deal for Hutt Ribs’ loaded fries. The description sounded great, and the photo looked good, but the taste and quality were not what I expected. It felt like I was eating old, neglected fries, and the sauce wasn’t great either. The presentation was fine, though. And I'm glad the food was still somewhat hot (but eh, that depends on who your delivery person is). Anyway, I don’t know the full story, but the food just wasn’t good. I’m not giving it one star because the presentation was nice, and I did receive an extra serve for free, which I appreciate. But please — taste your food before sending it out. Once I visit in person, I might change this review. But for now, these are my thoughts based on my first impression.    Got the Mac n cheese and some wedges. Mac n cheese was vile. It was so over seasoned and salty it was inedible. The wedges were burnt, had bacon on them which were not mentioned on the menu (I'm vegetarian) and also over seasoned. This is amateur stuff! If you are thinking of eating here, don't! This stuff isn't hard to do. How dissappointing. Will never order from here again.

   Extremely let down by the quality of the food. The fries were clearly not fresh — overcooked, hard, and unpleasant to eat. To make matters worse, the chicken wasn’t cooked properly. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Won’t be ordering from here again.

   The fried chicken set meal I ordered is very, very, very salty. The skin is crispy and the meat is juicy, but the marinade is too salty. The French fries are delicious, and the dipping sauce is also very good.

   Yum burger and fries but would not recommend the ribs. Dry and little to no sauce. Doesn’t fall off the bone and for the price I’d expect better.

   As a rib freak I was so exited, there ribs looked awesome on the web but infact, totally different. to be honest they were downright disgusting, tasted like an indian spice on them, my hands are stained orange and does not come off after three washes. any one who says the ribs are nice do not know what they are talking about. There chips were overcooked and brown in color. My wife had the chicken schnitzel and my threw half her chicken away, very dry and tough, we will never buy here again.

   This place is the real deal. I've ordered enough times to say they're consistent with quality, serving size, and taste. The chicken Alfredo is among the best in NZ with perfect cheese alfredo sauce consistency (unlike Spazzio's). When I'm ready to treat myself, this is my spot. The food will have you moaning with satisfaction. They use a sticky BBQ sauce for their ribs. Finger lickin' good, but I do prefer more of a wet sauce. You can't go wrong, they're tasty. I've never dined in, only delivery so I can't speak to atmosphere.

   Ordered half rack and chips. Taste is not the same what it used to be. Sauce on the ribs was totally different from what it used to be. Chips used to have chicken salt and was nice back in the days. Now the chips have different salt. Price is $25 for half a rack and chips. Feels overpriced for the quality of food. This is not the same what it used to be when it opened up. Very disappointed.Would not go back there again.

   Have had the ribs a few times over the last few years and they are a little inconsistent - ranging from good to very good. The price has increased quite a bit recently too. A half rack and chips will set you back $23 now. Reasonable value - even at that price. The burgers are also quiet nice. The service isn't the best and the crew aren't exactly helpful. Overall, reasonable good. Not fantastic though.
