Tracy was awesome! I took some curtains in which had seen better days and smelled of cigarettes. She was honest with me about the possibility of not being able to get the smell out, and then potentially disintegrating with they were dry cleaned. For what it would cost to get them dry cleaned, I could get new curtains. She let me leave the curtains there while I had a think about it. I ended up not getting them dry cleaned and made that decision was the honest information that Tracy gave.

I am extremely impressed with the service I received from the team at Jackson St Dry-cleaning. I took in my wedding dress, which is very special to me, and they did an amazing job. They did not rush it back to me, they took the time to get it right and it looks just as good as when I brought itβ¦. Thank you.

Ordered for dry cleaning pick up of a duvet. Great communication, prompt pick and and return. Got returned in a plastic bag to protect the item which was great. Very reasonable price compared to other pick up+dry clean services. Definitely recommend this service.

Edited to add: $10 Eftpos payments make sense (see below). Great service! Very clean and easy to use. Eftpos payments to top up a laundromat card can only be done in lots of $10, which is a bit annoying given none of the services add up to ten dollars. Otherwise good.

Guess what. The self service laundromat cards can only be recharged in multiples of 10. It will deduct 1$ as initial new card charges if you use it for first time. The cherry on top is the charges (initial wash and dry) will always add up to more than whats remaining on the card. So you are stuck with recharging your card in multiples of 10 which will cause some remainder amount $$ always staying on your card. Sly (read unethical) way to make money. I asked the lady at the counter is I can pay by eftpos and she can custom start the dryer for me and the answer was "I can't do anything about that". Edit to the reply from owner: 9$ is the total charge if one chooses small wash and dry, and not for other options. So refund me my unused amount if you are ethical (because I told the lady, I wont be needing it again). If I go to any other shop I will get back the remaining change. Why would a customer care who your business is designed towards. I see many complaints in other reviews about the 10$ recharge. Hope this clears what the issue is about. Won't be replying again.

I was so excited when the dry cleaners said they were opening a laundromat, my life has been made so much easier as I visit and use the big dryers twice a week during the winter to get my endless washing dried. So clean, tidy and staff very helpful and friendly especially getting sorted with card and doing it for the first time. A real asset to Petone. See you again soon.
