I went to Sue Alteration for my wedding gown alterations and had a total of three visits. The first was my initial consultation, the second was for checking the first round of alterations on the length and armholes, and the third was to make final adjustments to the shoulders. Prida, the tailor, was absolutely amazing—her work was great, and she was very kind and professional throughout the process. However, the company itself has serious issues with pricing transparency. I asked for a quote at my first visit, and they said they would email it to me. At my second visit, they claimed they had sent it, but it turns out they used the wrong email address. I only found out the final cost at my last appointment when picking up my dress—$699 for the alterations plus an additional $30 for a wedding dress bag, totaling $729. This was nearly double the price of my actual dress, which I bought online for $400. While the tailoring itself was great, the lack of upfront communication about pricing left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. If you’re considering getting alterations here, I highly recommend getting a written quote in advance to avoid any surprises.
Prida did such a fantastic job on my wedding dress, I couldn't be happier! I bought a vintage dress and wanted to alter the neckline and bodice shape quite a lot - Prida took it all in her stride, gave me great advice on what would look best and made me feel totally confident. She was clear I could come back as often as I needed to to get the fit perfect, and no request was too much trouble. She's lovely and warm too, and really got me excited about the day. Thank you so much Prida and Jade, I absolutely loved your work and I'm so glad I came to you!
Absolutely amazing job done on some pants, The work was incredible it looked the same as it did before the tear. Work was quick and efficient and the staff was amazingly nice. Would 100% come back for future repairs

I chose Sue’s Alterations for my wedding dress and I could not of had any better fit on my wedding day. They made you feel like you were their only client and that your dress was the most lovely dress in the world. They wouldn’t rush you when you just wanted to check out your dress. The alterations were just fantastic and were even hand sewn at some points of my dress! This had to take loads of time and effort and I just appreciate it so much! Highly highly recommend!
