Fantastic fish and chips shop. Staff were super friendly and the food was delicious, well cooked and not oily. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Lower Hutt!!
What a shame. Would of been amazing. Food was all under cooked. Raw batter on my fish and potatoes fritter. So disappointed! If had of been properly cooked would of actually been great. If you have customers bying your food atleast try be nice and friendly!!!!! Won't be back. One chance is all you get! And you don't even know when food is properly cooked. Amateur!!!!!!! Go easy on batter! Don't like 1cm of raw batter on potatoes fritter! Wake up.
Excellent food here. Both the regular fish (blue warehou) and fillets (tarakihi) served up cooked just right, juicy with great crispy batter.
The lady there is so lovely, always sneaks in an extra fish and large scoops of chips. Sorry for the bad photo quality.
This has to be one of best Fish and Chips shops in the Hutt Valley, We got our order cooked perfectly, chips crispy on the outside and soft inside, and not greasy, the size of the fish and sausages where big and the batter once again was crispy. The staff are super friendly and even though this shop is not in our local area I would have no hesitation in going out of way to get my F & C's from here, Totally recommended

Consistently the best chips in Wellington region. We have been going there for years after football practice with my oldest, and the chips are always cooked so well (not soggy, dry and crispy). Best part of the week.
Very lovely meal I enjoyed it very much. I bought a piece of fish, 5 mussels, a spring roll and a fish and egg burger. The fish in the burger was crumbed and it was very crunchy on my sensitive teeth so I will definitely be asking for a battered fish in my burger instead and I love the fact that you used rocket salad in the burger which gave it a very elegant touch.
