   This morning I was the lucky recipient of some random vandalism that left my driver side door dented and the window unusable. Branch Manager Josh saw a social media post in the community page about the incident and invited me to stop in and see how to make things function and secure again... This guy's a rockstar. Within minutes, he'd corrected 90% of the damage and tested the window to ensure everything worked to spec. Skills in your industry are one thing, however, when you add incredible customer service to the mix, it elevates the experience. This morning was pretty taxing and the kindness of a professional who saw the need and responded is something I won't forget. Thank you Josh! I can't recommend you and S&S enough. The replacement windshield was done in less than an hour and made the whole process very simple. Highly recommend this team in Lower Hutt due to their professionalism and attention to detail.    Hi I have booked my Tesla to change the windscreen and when I came back to pick up, that’s how I got my car, with dirty hands on my car and they haven’t done the job very well. It’s very disappointing. I won’t recommend anyone to leave their much loved vehicles to them.

   I gave up and went to Novus in Petone for my car insurance job as the the ‘service’ from smith and smith on Hutt road was non existent. No one at reception locked doors don’t answer phone and didn’t show for appointment. You won’t ever get business from my family again. I’d give zero stars if I could.

   The only reason for the 2 stars was due to the fact that the guys I dealt with instore were very lovely and helpful. I took my car in for a windscreen replacement after it had cracked. The job took 1 hour and it showed after I had realised there were multiple issues. Most of the issues I managed to get resolved but it showed poor workmanship. The first issue was my residence parking permit was discarded with the windscreen that just so happened to be picked up by a truck before I picked my car up. This issue was resolved via WCC. Thank you to the guy instore who offered to pay for the replacement if needed. The second issue was that the mics in my car were snipped off, but they were happy to resolve this issue via allowing me to invoice them with the cost. The third issue was the rain sensor not stuck back on properly, so I was unable to leave it on the auto function. Not a big deal for some but just exemplifies the poor workmanship. I was able to speak to some friends at Coventry Lower Hutt who helped me resolve the issue. The fourth issue was the contact centre, I was told I would get a phone call back from a team leader in regards to getting the third issue resolved, however it has been around 2 weeks and still no call back from anyone. Very disappointed as I had to go out of my way multiple times to resolve an issue I didn't cause. I have spoken to many people about this issue and they reiterated that they would not use their services and it would have been better to go elsewhere - I would have, if I knew insurance companies allowed you to go to a place of your choosing. Would not recommend taking your vehicle here unless you have knowledge about vehicles and can check over your car yourself before you drive away to avoid any issues. A huge thank you to the guys at Coventry Cars Lower Hutt, especially Shane who had advised me on where the issues were and where to go to resolve them - very knowledgeable and helpful!

   Seems understaffed. but Great service.. Great couple of guys that did my windscreen.. very helpful, Thankyou :) Give these guys a payrise.. from me in the blue Toyota . Oh and a great price, $500 for a windscreen, wipers and windscreen rain stuff

   I'm not really one to post reviews but I have to on this occasion. I was very disappointed in the customer service provided by Smith and Smith Lower Hutt Branch. I booked almost 2 weeks in advance for an appointment for a windscreen replacement. Went in today for my 0930 hrs appointment only to be told by them that the glass hadn't arrived. No one even bothered to contact me until an hour after returning home which is pathetic. I also asked the staff if it would be in before the end of the week due to only being available this week. The staff member just shrugged his shoulders and said unlikely. Lucky NOVUS glass was able to help me out. I will definitely not be returning to Smith and Smith ever. Rant over

   After waiting two weeks to get my window installed I finally dropped the car off and picked up after it was installed was excited after the long wait. Car was picked up after hours only to find black stains and marks on my back seat and grease like marks all over the windows Then to add to the issue the window that wasn't broken or had damage to it will not go up probably and the tint has been ripped off a corner Not happy
