Louis crafts with care and enthusiasm, which are the most important qualities you would look for in a Goldsmith. Louis allows the couple to participate in the creation of the ring, adding much meaningful value to your own wedding brand!    Louis and Yani were so knowledgeable & experienced making the entire process seamless from beginning to end. Once the two of us were going for the re-modelling sessions it was great to be given the chance to melt the gold and shape the ring. They always kept our desires at the top of their priorities to ensure that the sentiment of the original ring was kept through to the finished product. Louis is a true professional craftsman and we would thoroughly recommend his services for amazing handcrafted jewellery, and an insightful process with each visit.

   My fiance and I recently visited Louis to have our wedding bands made. My fiance had my engagement ring made overseas, so we were a bit unsure where to begin when looking for a jeweller in Auckland to make our wedding bands. We both had fairly clear ideas of what we wanted but also wanted some guidance and help with the design process. We found out about Louis through friends of a friend who had recently had their wedding bands made by him. After a quick look at his reviews, we were interested in meeting with Louis as it clear that his prices were great. After meeting Louis, and in the short time we worked with him, it became clear to us that not only are his prices considerably better than any other jeweller in Auckland (we paid less than a third of what we had been quoted by another jeweller!), but he is surely one of the best and most experienced jewellers in the city.  Louis invited us to be present in his workshop with him throughout almost the whole process, which allowed us total control over how the rings looked and gave us peace of mind that we were going to end up with rings we loved. We were even able to have hands-on involvement in some steps of the process, which was a really fun experience! If champagne and an instagram-worthy showroom are important parts of the experience to you, then Louis's down to earth and no frills approach might not be the right fit for you. But if what you want is a hands-on, involved experience, a fantastic price, and beautifully handcrafted jewellery, then I cannot recommend Louis enough. We would come back to him time and time again.    Doesn't get any better than this, Louis is a true artisan who helped design the perfect ring for both myself and my wife. Her ring draws inspiration from her engagement ring (the same one her great grandmother was given) and mine is hand engraved with mountains from my home town. Both pieces are exceptional and valued far more than Louis charged. He is a gentleman who cares for every part of the ring making process and has been doing this his entire life. We were privileged enough to be able to be involved in the ring making process, melting the gold ourselves and designing our rings. Wouldn't ever consider going anywhere else for any jewellery having found Louis.
