   Way better service than places I’ve been to in the city. I got a spa pedicure and They take the time to do the job properly. Not rushed even though they were slammed. High quality. Definitely recommend.

   I'm sorry to say but I was there 2 days ago and it was just shit.They lady was rough doing my pedicure literally rushing the job and rushed my manicure and I wanted a design and when I showed her she says oh your nail too short. Now if I had of been told that I wouldn't of got my nails shorten And her attitude wasn't nice.I think she got overwhelmed when more people were coming in so the pressure is on. I will say I didn't have an appointment and there was only 2 people in the shop at the time so it was OK but when people turned up with appointments that's when she started to rush and being rough. Unfortunately I won't be going back even though Ive been there a couple of times but it only takes one time to piss me off and that's it. Have gratitude not attitude

   I went in for a brow wax today and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. The staff member accidentally got wax on my fringe and, instead of asking me to move it or cleaning it off, she cut the section of hair that had wax on it without saying anything. I only noticed once I got home that my fringe had been bluntly cut, which was quite upsetting. I even tried tweezing some of the cut fringe to help it blend with the rest of my hair, but it still looks blunt and out of place. Mistakes can happen, but I would’ve appreciated some honesty or an apology at the time. If my hair was in the way, I would’ve been more than happy to hold it back myself. Really disappointed with how this was handled. I just wish there had been better communication and care.

   I went to Gloss & Shine Nails in Papatoetoe and honestly, I wasn’t too happy with my experience. The price was really good, but the nail shapes were quite off. They also didn’t have the colour I asked for when I requested a darker shade, they did it, but the polish ended up really thick. After about a week, the polish started peeling on my acrylics and the underneath layer turned out to be uncured. The polish itself also wasn’t shiny like it should be, it came out more matte. This ended up leaving my nail plates very damaged. I was also a bit uncomfortable when I asked for the colour to be changed, as the staff started talking in their own language while doing my nails. Overall, the price was fair, but the quality and service weren’t what I expected.

   I have been to this place a few times i noticed the ladies are talking in their language and it seems TARGETED at the customer after telling them to change soemthing in the nails I am paying for they look at eacother and say something I think the ladies are sweet probably not as bad as NT NAILS in OTAHUHU those ladies are so rude anyways not the point just please stop gossiping infornt of customers also I think the prices are pretty good and reasonable the pedicures are good and the nail art and polish stays for some time but there it comes to acrylic nails they don’t have the right colors and after getting my nails done I noticed the shine was not there anymore (a few days later) and bunch of scratches formed on my nails that are noticeable my nails are almost matte so far they have stayed on for more than a week there is no lifting or any other problems.

   I’ve been getting my nail done here from May, so far visited 8 times. They are not consistent, somedays they do but others day don’t really care. I get that time is money for them. Honestly i wouldn’t mind pay a bit more and get it good quality nail. I had acrylic nail set from last visit, this time i had it removed. they had stripped off acrylic which had huge damage on my nail and also it hurt a lot. This time i asked if there is other way. The lady was like it will take so long with long face lol. So i let them strip acrylic away. The process was so painful. Then i had white gel on my actual nail. Very uneven finish and lady cut my skin off which i didn’t even ask for it. And also, the blush which they used to dust off was stink as, i wouldn’t surprise if i get nail fungus. The cutting so sore every time i wash my hand.
