    We have been coming here for a while and at first, it was very good. But over the years, the quality, especially portion size has not been good. We decided, our last visit will be our last. The fish was not fresh and the portion size was only half the size it used to be. Also, the service that once was excellent has also declined. Not sure whats happened. Definitely not the excellent place it used to be.

    We ordered 6 prawns, snapper and chips and one dory on its own for $62!!! I hate leaving bad reviews but this has to be the worst Fish n Chips I’ve ever had. The fish to batter ratio is pathetic was about 20% fish and 80% batter. The batter is so thick and doughy we could not finish it.

    Omg guys atleast respect people travelling from far to eat from at your place ! Firstly, prices are super high as compared to other shops ( which i dont mind paying for quality) Secondly, you need to def improve on fish batter ( gressy and too thick) Thirdly, sauces. Are you serious ?. A teaspoon of sauce for the whole meal in a tiny cup ?. Shame on you Fourthly , horrible soggy chips inclusive burnt chips . Please consider cooking fresh chips instead of chucking in the remaining of the cold chips in boxes Also, no lemon ?. Omg fish and chips without lemon ?. So cunning. Came with no cutlery and napkins Group of 6 friends decided to come in for dine in today. Shared the experience and took them to our local fish and chips shop. They were 100% satisfied Moral of the story - stop being greedy and respect your customers.

    Easily the best fish and chips we’ve found in a long time. I have a gluten intolerance so struggle all the time with food options, so I really appreciated a grilled fish of the day with option for salad & rice (instead of chips all the time) Partner had hoki & egg burger with chips & coke, he’s a fan also. Egg was perfect, chips were perfect, bun was perfect. So happy with the customer service and felt so welcomed that we stayed and sat down to eat, when usually would run away with takeaway.     I’ve been here multiple times now, and every visit has been consistently great. The staff are absolutely amazing—genuinely no notes at all. They’re always friendly, quick, helpful, and understanding. On my most recent visit, one of the team was especially lovely and gave us two sauces when usually you’d only get one—such a small gesture, but it really stood out and added to the positive experience. The food here is delicious. No matter what I’ve ordered, it’s always been fresh, well-prepared, and really tasty. The chips, in particular, are always seasoned perfectly—crispy, golden, and full of flavour. One of the things I appreciate most is how fast the food comes out. Even during the busiest lunch rushes, I’ve never had to wait more than about 15 minutes. It’s clear the kitchen is efficient. Pricing is definitely something to note—it’s not that cheap. You’re looking at $20 or more for a proper meal, but I do think the quality and service make it worth it, especially given how reliable the whole experience is. All in all, it’s a place I’m happy to keep coming back to. Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful team.
