   Thanks Chef Chetan Pangam for the amazing hospitality. Had an amazing brunch here — absolutely loved it! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bread was warm and crisp, and the portions were just right without feeling heavy. The coffee was smooth and well-made, and it paired perfectly with the meal. The menu has a great balance of classic brunch favourites and creative options, so there’s something for everyone. Definitely one of the best brunch spots around — highly recommend and will be back again! Thanks #BellBirdTeam , love your work .

   We came here for a work lunch treat and I was so disappointed with the service we received. The food took over an hour to come out and when it did it was very underwhelming. I got the fish and chips and the French fries were brown and hollow because they were so overcooked. The batter in the fish was thick and oily with a small amount of fish inside, along with the coleslaw that had made the paper sopping and degrade into the slaw when trying to eat it. It was a nice atmosphere and was very busy. We did get an apology on the service but I feel for the price the food needs to be up to a much higher standard.

   We were so impressed by the food presentation and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The cabinet is also overflowing with delicious treats which we will definitely be grabbing next time. Such a good variety of menu items, of which are all good value for money. The staff were incredibly welcoming, engaged, attentive to our needs and super speedy to clear empty plates/clean tables. Great coffee too. I really recommend popping into Bellbird Eatery for breakfast/lunch if you're in the area. Keep up the awesome work team :)

   A popular place situated in the Dowse Art Gallery with pleasant outdoor seating area. Salmon rosti dish was delicious. Vietnamese chicken dish is on the small side for the price. Overall nice experience.

   Perhaps the best service I've had in years! The server noticed I was waiting for someone so came to check if I wanted a drink while I waited. My friend soon turned up so the server popped back over to see if my friend would like to add a drink to the order. It's not a big thing but it shows an awareness of the customers and their needs that I don't see very often these days. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our main Server (short Petite female, long brown hair, tattoos - if this is you, you rock!) pulled us over to another till to 'skip the line' to pay. Again, it's the small things, but they're delightful. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great. An excellent cafe and my new favourite in Lower Hutt!

   An impromptu stop in to the Bellbird and I spotted the chicken burger unexpectedly included hot sauce so I had a Hot Ones moment and decided to brave the potential heat. Good choice as the spice was a perfect warmer for an outside table on a crisp winter day. Yum.
