Value for money, big room separated with kitchen area and bathroom. Comfy bed, lot of tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and lot of parking available. I truly enjoy my 2 nights stay with Parnell.
The views of the city from this hotel are amazing. Situated on a hill in the prominent upper class suburb of Parnell on a safe and quiet street, I highly recommend staying here. Parking is free and they do not charge a damage deposit or bond unlike many inner city accommodation providers, meaning you can spend more of your money exploring the city or eating out. They also have a restaurant on site that does a delicious full buffet breakfast. I had an amazing sleep on their big comfortable beds and the balcony out of your room overlooking the city is the best spot for evening drinks. My room was also very clean. The only issue was that they need to clearly state on their computers when a customer has already paid for the room so that their staff know. I was asked twice during my stay to pay up when I had already. You can also buy the AT hop cards here and the Parnell Train station is just down the road, making it easy to get into the city. Lots of food places nearby as well and beautiful rose gardens. I would definitely stay again!
A good Hotel in the very nice, quite and safe location of Parnell. Rooms are not too decorative but have all you need and are very clean. Service is helpful and friendly and everything went smoothly. Unfortunately the surroundings of the hotel were a bit noisy. To recommend for solo travellers.
Good location in auckland. Most friendly staff. Room was clean and big bed, only thing there were gabs between the door that cold air came inside. Also its verry bright in the morning. I could recommand this hotel.
I've stayed here several times. I stayed in U25 this time and I unfortunately didn't sleep so well as the bed lacked support and the curtain allowed light in from the top. Otherwise the place is excellent value. The one bedroom is perfect if you want to cook a few things, keep food and drinks in the fridge, and have some space to relax and watch TV in the lounge /dining room. I've stayed here twice before, once on the floor above in a single room, and once in the other building in a 2 bedroom apartment. I dont recall having issues with light or beds on those occasions. I recommend this place, but i do hope they consider changing the mattress and fixing the curtain in the room so light doesn't come through at the top. Everything was clean and tidy and quiet. Its also very close to loads of restaurants and shops.
Excellent place to stay. Plenty of parks, great central location to the city. Easy enough to get a quick uber ride into town without worring about parking. Stayed here twice now and was satisfied both times especially with the restaurant being on the same site.
We enjoyed our recent stay here. The room was very tidy, clean bathroom, great view, always someone at reception, front desk people were friendly and helpful, great value for money. Will stay here again
One of the best places we have ever stayed at. Clean , good sized rooms with everything provided. Plenty of parking and great location. Nice food and reasonably priced restaurant also.
The photos didn't do this place justice. We found the room to be much larger and more spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of cooking equipment for the basic food we were cooking. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was clean and tidy. The bathroom must have been redone recently as it was in excellent condition. We had a lovely view towards the docks and city.
We stayed here in a standard king room for a show at spark arena. Good size, clean and quiet for the size of the place and it was completely full. Nice renovated bathroom, but my only complaint is the shower door didn’t seal properly so after a shower I came out and the water had run from the bathroom to the bedroom and touched the carpet. It was about to run out the door. We used all the towels to mop it up and had to ask for more the next day. Other than that, great place and we will definitely return.
