   We stayed for two nights after travelling from London while waiting in Auckland for our luggage, which had been left behind in Doha. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were attentive and friendly, with special thanks to Ajin. The welcoming brownies were a lovely ( and delicious) touch. Overall, it was a very pleasant and stress-free stay during an otherwise inconvenient situation.

   Solid spot. Clean room, quiet area, and the beach is literally right there. Nothing overhyped, nothing pretending to be luxury — just comfortable, straightforward, and worth the price. Stayed a night and had zero issues. Easy five stars from me.

   Such a sweet spot! Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff! Rooms, are nicely done - spacious, modern and comfortable - really enjoyed the Spa bath in the room I had & the shower was massive! Has a spa, a gym, a pool for the warmer months and is only a 5 min walk to the beautiful beach and lots of cafes & restaurants near by - highly recommend!

   We had a pleasant stay overall at the Carnmore Hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were great — especially accommodating with our late check-in, which we really appreciated. Facilities were also up to standard. The reason for not giving a full 5-star rating is the noise in the mornings. On all three days, the housekeeping staff were extremely loud while chatting and joking with each other, which made it hard to sleep and waking us up. Unfortunately, the storage cupboard was directly opposite our room, which didn’t help — but regardless, noise like that at 8am on a weekend isn’t ideal for paying guests. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I stay again? Probably not.

   Location: Quiet and safe area. Can walk to Takapuna beach. Plenty of food choices within walking distance. Room: Room is clean. Has bathtub - big enough to relax. There is also a microwave in the room which is handy when heating leftover food. Staff: Cleaning staff has done an amazing job. Check in and check out was also a breeze. Price: Affordable with great amenities - free parking & fitness area.

   This hotel is so good and perfect for me. I stayed here yesterday and the weather is so good. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the shopping centre. Thank you to all staff especially the receptionist who help me with the direction. the room is so clean nothing else you can ask for. smart tv in the room heat pump for winter is thumbs up for me. For sure I will return again in Auckland and stay here

   Comfortable rooms that have been recently refurbished, it has a pool and free parking so that was grand. Close to everything and I though the rates for what you got were pretty good. The building is tired and obviously suffered water damage over the years but it didn't feel or smell damp so who cares. The front desk people were all lovely.
