   Called in for a quick meal on the way home. Got roast of the day ( lamb) and the schnitzel. Place was a bit noisy. But food was good, and presented well at a very reasonable moment price. Easy to say, we will be back. ☺️

   Very ordinary experience. Waitress was friendly and efficient however the food did not match the FOH service. Meals were disappointing, barely warm and not fresh. Definitely does not live up to the claim of being a “gastro” pub.

   A pretty nice pub (Is the only positive thing I can say after our visit). The person who I believe was the Manager was extremely rude to us. And the food poisoning my wife got from our very average meals wasn't desirable, either. Terrible experience for our first time visiting Upper Hutt.
