Our room was amazing, it had a best view and very clean. Everything is in there, you can find kitchenette there too. The bed is clean and very comfortable. And thereβs an air condition as well. Our stay for one night was awesome. We got there late as and the receptionist was really awesome, she greeted us with a smile and welcome us. Overall everything was amazing. If youβre looking for a hotel to stay while up here in Auckland for work or leisure just try them. You wonβt be disappointed. And itβs affordable too.

During my stay at this hotel, I was unpleasantly surprised to find the refrigerator and microwave placed right next to the bedβand even worse, there were insects crawling around the area. I also spotted more bugs under the bed. After dealing with the insects using tissue paper, I thought I could finally rest. However, after returning from the trip, I noticed nearly ten red bumps on my legs. After looking it up, it seems likely that these were caused by mite bites. I believe this hotel lacks proper cleanliness and therefore do not recommend staying here.

You get what you pay for, rooms are small but have all the amenities and tidy, a bit of noise in the evening traffic/sirens etc but quite at night, variety of dining options with in walking distance.

! To read if you dont want to be robbed ! My incredible year in New Zealand was supposed to end on a high note. This hotel turned it into a nightmare. After selling my van, I simply wanted to enjoy my last three days in this country I had grown to love. But from the very first evening, the dream turned to dread: my charger and cables, left on my bed, had vanished after housekeeping came through. At the front desk, I was met with a wall of indifference. No help, no apology, just a dismissive "you should look harder." The next morning came the shock. Opening my wallet, I discovered money had been stolen. This was no longer a mistake; it was a violation of my privacy, a pure and simple theft. My trust was broken. Paralyzed by this feeling of insecurity, I spent my very last day in New Zealand locked in my room, heartbroken and disgusted. The climax of this sordid stay was my departure. When I informed the receptionist that I was going to file a police report, she looked at me with a chilling calm, almost a smirk, and said, "Okay, just be sure to bring me the paperwork from the police." Her confidence was terrifying, as if she knew the protocol for dealing with theft victims in her own establishment by heart. This place didn't just ruin the end of my trip. It cast a permanent shadow over a year of happiness and precious memories. Stay away.

I was apartment hunting on trademe and found this hotel is renting out their rooms for long term stay. In description it says βRooms are available now, feel free to come for room viewing! β So I decided to pay a visit. Sep 22th 2:45pm I went to the hotel asking about the listing on trademe, was told thereβs no room available until this December and I could make room reservation through email. So I left. Sep 22th 10:40pm I asked about the room reservation through email, no reply since then. Sep 24th 12:53pm I contacted them through text, for the result you can check my photo, I screenshotted it on Sep 30th. And this listing is still active on trademe.

I havenβt stayed here but I live in the area and there is ALWAYS an awful woman screeching her car horn incessantly at all hours of the day in the carpark, yelling and screaming abusive language towards the hotel windows whenever someone has parked in her βcarparkβ. Sheβs rude, she yells obscene language at anyone and everyone, so if you enjoy being verbally abused by a stranger because you happened to pick the wrong carpark, this is the place to beβ¦If you want a quiet rest, this is not the place to stay. She does this in the early hours of the morning, at any point during the day and at all hours of the evening. Hotel staff are either unable or unwilling to address this. Would never recommend this place.

Well the room was nice. And staff were stand offish. But very tidy on the first floor I stayed Stayed for 3 nights. I would never recommend this motel to many people. Unless they were desperate for accommodation in Auckland. It is also a pitt stop, for people who WINZ put up, on upper floors. And domestic arguments were heard loudly each night. And outside in the carpark behind the building. The elevator didn't work, and was not repaired in time I was there. This morning on my departure day Thursday. The front door electronic system failed and I couldn't go outside. This was at 6 am approximately this morning. I called for a live in manager, who said, it was a electronic failure. It was fixed by 8 am. A helpful person staying there said use a emergency exit to get out, and make sure I don't let the door closed, or wouldn't be able to get back inside. I wonder how many people during the night were locked inside, or outside trying to get in or out. What happened to the old fashioned way of using a key to let your self in or out. Far easier and simple, instead of electronic system. And if your a smoker, you have numerous underisable people hanging round the front entrance, asking you for a cigarette, or picking up the cigarette butt you threw away. I honestly thought I had a chance of being mugged by these people. The place needs a complete overhaul, and basic but secure system to come and go as you please. The cleaning staff were very helpful and efficient and did a excellent job. The receptionist needs to do a course in public relations. And be more welcoming, friendly. I asked about taxis, she goes there is a list, you pick one. The room did not have a brochure of amenities offered by the place. Lucky I did not see any cockroaches a previous reviewer mention. To be honest I am appalled by the place, and essential high improvements need to be done asap.

The walls were marked, dirty and the whole place stank! Checked for dust above the bed was filthy, underneath the bed to, bathroom was dirty all the edges. Thank god I took a spray disinfectant I gasses the place! The heater on wall was cracked which is a hazard, mould on windows, very noisy and certainly not what the photos show. Disgusting place!!! Also have stayed in cleaner DOC hostels than this place!
