Lovely man at the front desk. Very outdated the windows couldn’t close properly upstairs was very hot. Got no sleep because of the noisey men next door could hear them talking in there room very clear until 3am not good when you have to catch an early flight. Wasn’t happy. Lots of rubbish lying around (wine bottles) and the parking is not good had a van parked right at our front door could barely get in.

I had a wonderful experience with Oakwood Manor. The staff were exceptional, Simon and Lennie went the extra mile to get me to the airport in time for my flight amongst crazy concert traffic recently. My car was safely stored for the week and Lennie picked me up on my return. Simon welcomed me home with such genuine hospitality. I was not expecting to much of the room but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, tidy, comfortable and well appointed for my short stay. The overhead fan was noisy but there was another available in the room. Overall exceptional value for money. I will definitely return. Thank you team.

Very bad ive deleted my positive review im a regular customer every week . First time bad reception from internet (wifi) from the time checked in until now im very disappointed doesn't worth the amount money im paying daily Plus I spoke to the receptionist to give me more time sort our bags she said only give me 30 mins asked before 11am . Make it worth with my money ill add bad review let people know bad customer service etc . If you want money from us provide bst service fix youre Internet Very disappointed... Inform my family dont waste their money coming over here anymore if thats the case stop charging more but you cant provide the service we need .

I read some reviews and I made the mistake of not taking note. Every review is correct. It is an old building so there's no double glazing or sound proofing. We finally got to sleep around 10.30 after crying children, loud music, doors slamming. At 12.30am we were woken by a loud bang that shook our room and that was the end of our sleep, turns out it was a heavy internal door in the hallway that we shut at 3.50am, bang, poor people. The free shuttle service was full at 5am so we had to book the 4am. On our return I mentioned this to the shuttle pickup driver and he said we could have been booked on the 1/2 hour, sorry for her mistake, I don't know why she didn't. One positive, the bed was comfortable and looked clean. Looking to book in February, I won't be booking here.

Dissatisfied with ammenities. No hot chocolate drinks… only 2 tsp no other cutlery if we wanted to bring back a meal to eat at the Motel room / or order take out delivery… the was only 2 cups. No plates, and S&P!! So overall very disappointing. Drawer handles missing. Only a small spotlight for ceiling light. One wall was painted a VERY BRIGHT Royal blue colour. No bed head either! So you could see paint wearing off (there was white paint showing thru) so when folk sat up in the bed one would lean on the wall! Not very hygienic I think! I got talking to a neighbour in the next room… hers was the same. PLUS THO… fresh smelling room, clean crisp sheets etc clean fresh smelling towels etc soap etc BUT no tissues.

Travelled for work. Location of property is good. And that's about it. Dated and not overly clean. Bathroom had mould, toilet didn't flush properly, the small heaters didn't do enough to heat the place, some nets on windows were ripped, locks on doors weren't great, wifi was sporadic to non-existent. And unfortunately there were no laundry facilities, which is extremely inconvenient. Was booked in for 7 nights. Checked out after 2 nights. I wanted to love this place because of the location. Sadly it wasn't enough to be able to give it more stars.

We had a bad experience with the night receptionist John. This guy has no customer service at all!!! His driving made us feel unsafe & uncomfortable. He answered a call while driving & was extremely rude to the customer. He was telling her to read signs at the airport properly & use their eyes. What kind of company would want someone like him working for them. The lodge has potential but this John guy is letting you down!! Hope he finds a job he likes because he sure doesn’t like working at the lodge. His comments & opinions are irrelevant when we tried booking a shuttle. This guy seriously needs to go! The other night receptionist Tracey (who worked the last weekend we were there in May) was amazing!! Helpful, has great customer service, made sure we were all settled in & even came by our room to help load our bags into the van. Her Dad was also there to help too & he was lovely! Tracey deserves a raise & is definitely an asset to your business. John? A FAT NO. Everything else about the lodge is good. Just a few things that needs fixing but overall, it was comfortable.

I was not impressed with this motel. We missed out on free drop off to airport on Friday, as a big group came and booked van up. Was told first in first serve. We asked if we can book seats in van in advance but told no, it's first in first serve. Room was not good. Broken window, latch which couldn't close up and cold breeze came through window. No towel rails in bathroom, no toilet holder. Asked for an extra blanket was told they had a full house and she didn't think there were any extra blankets to give out. Asked for a wake up call , but that never happen. Cutlery draw consisted of one fork, 3 knives 2 dessert spoons 1 teaspoon. Overall not impressed with this motel, considering we have used this motel regularly and have been treated well. I'm sure we weren't the only ones disappointed with the first in first serve attitude. And first time we heard about this first in first serve. This is why we go to this motel because of the shuttle service and we can leave our car the for a limited time.We ordered a taxi and the service was very good and reasonable price. Been using this motel for about all our overseas trips and never been disappointed. Booked in to stay in Oct this year, hope we will be treated better.

DO NOT STAY HERE. - Room 153 - Wifi drops and disconnects every 10 seconds, basically useless. Asked the reception to reboot - same issue. - Cracked window in bathroom (it is dangerous) you could feel the air through the crack and yes it’s sharp to the touch. - No air con just a dirty old fan & a budget portable heater. - Beds are so low as they have no legs so the bases are directly on the floor - not fun for us 6’ft tall people. - The shower base blocks up with water as soon as you turn the shower on. It fills up to 2cm. Had to shower quickly and turn it off before it overflowed out into the flooring of the bathroom. Terrible. - The shelving in the fridge is all damaged. - No shower gel was offered at all. We got 3 hand soaps though (wow) - Reception called our room 3 times at 3am in the morning for no reason. - Only one small bin in the kitchen for all the trash. - Oakwood did not disclose that there are works going on in the rooms on each side of us. Too late for a refund and so we were stuck with the noise. - They do not allow a second key for the room however there are 3 of us here doing different things - with one key. At least supply a second key and charge a hefty fee if it gets lost. - Worse stay ever considering the price we paid for a 3 night stay.
