   We have had a great time having The Grange cater for our function. We booked tables for 35 people on a Saturday afternoon. The food was great, the selection of drinks is decent, and the staff were friendly. They have gone out of their way despite the confusion of the number of people and making sure we get our order right. Thanks for making our small gathering memorable.

   Had a meal at The Grange in Takapuna recently. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was good, which made it a nice place to sit and relax. The food was decent — good but not quite at the “wow” level. Flavours were enjoyable, just not particularly memorable. Portions were mid-sized but felt a little on the heavy side, so it might not suit someone looking for something light or refined. Still, everything was well presented and you can tell effort goes into the dishes. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot with solid food and a great setting. Worth a visit, especially for the ambiance, but don’t expect to be blown away by the menu.

   Had my daughters 21st birthday lunch in the Grange's private dining room and it was great! The staff had great communication and a positive can-do attitude. They helped us to tailor the event to our requirements, even at short notice. The set menu offered lots of variety and everyone loved their meals. On the day of the event, the staff were super helpful. They were available when needed and we never felt rushed/pressured. Highly recommend The Grange for any special events or simply a meal out!

   I had the pleasure of visiting The Grange in Takapuna, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming environment with a modern yet relaxed atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and created a comfortable dining experience. The food was exceptional — beautifully presented and full of flavour. From the freshly baked focaccia with whipped ricotta and honey to the charcuterie board, the starters set a high standard. The mains were equally impressive; the creamy chicken and bacon alfredo was rich and delicious, while the market fish with squid ink risotto was refined and perfectly cooked. For vegetarians, the pumpkin risotto with truffle peas and goats’ cheese is a standout dish. The beverage selection was also excellent, offering a great variety of wines and drinks that paired nicely with the meals. Overall, The Grange delivers not only in terms of quality food and drinks but also in creating a friendly and enjoyable dining environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Takapuna.

   We booked the dining room for 13 guests to celebrate my partner's birthday and our engagement, and we were blown away by how attentive and warm the staff were. They regularly checked in and refilled our drinks, food came quickly (but not too quick!) and was delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the place was great. I wish I could remember the name of the woman serving us, because it was by far the best service I've experienced. She was amazing!!

   I booked the greenhouse room for a private event to propose to my partner at the grange and am very pleased to say that we had an amazing experience here. The staff at the Grange went well out of their way to make the evening very special for us and we all had a blast, the food was great and the drinks were delicious! I would like to specially thank the lady who was looking after our table and helped with setting up decorations - this really took the pressure away from everything. I will definitely recommend the Grange to others for private events and such. Thanks Rahul

   Had a family event of +20 people booked in the private room on Sunday the 23rd from 1:00-6:00pm. Staff were extremely friendly, professional and prompt. They were consistently present all day, which was 5 hours long. They were knowledgeable about their menu, including their drinks, were extremely organised, and accommodating. The room itself was spacious enough to hold all of us, was elegantly decorated, comfortable and had great lighting for photography. The food and drinks itself were delicious. Beautifully presented, perfectly flavoursome, with generous portions. Between different courses, all plates and cutlery were cleared and replenished, we did not have to call any staff to clear anything away as they took initiative. Throughout the entire day, we consistently had a good experience despite it being a busy Sunday, and are extremely thankful. Highly recommend The Grange for future events.
